Kid Fit is designed for kids to prepare them for life. At Kid Fit, we focus on fun to get kids excited about exercising! Our fully programmed classes strive to enhance fitness through functional and fun activities scaled for any child. Your child will develop and improve cardiovascular health, strength, power, stamina, speed, flexibility, balance, coordination and accuracy. This is an introduction course for kids to develop exercise habits at an early stage in life.
How can Kid Fit benefit my child?
Through the Kid Fit Program, your child’s motor skills will be enhanced through teaching better movement and cognitive skills as we engaging your child to think about their movement, count their reps, remember the sequences, and work towards goals. Kid Fit augments a kids involvement in sports by incorporating strength training and conditioning to make our athletes better athletes at any sport.
In addition to increasing your child’s fitness and athleticism, the Kid Fit Program will:
Instill a lifelong definition of health and positive body image,
reverse prevalent health issues such as obesity,
protect against injury,
create a community of like-minded individuals for support and self-confidence, and
hone life skills such as concentration, problem solving, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and goal-setting.
How do our Kid Fit classes run?
Our job as coaches is to make exercise fun, and to help kids move better, safer and more effectively and to prepare them for the rest of their lives. At least one Crossfit Kids / Level 1 Crossfit certified coach, with one helper, will supervise and run the kid’s classes. Classes are set up to include a warm up, skill work, workout, and various games using the learned skills. This makes learning and exercise very fun!
What can I do as a parent?
We encourage parents to support their kids and the class they attend and to stay and spectate from the sidelines, cheer, participate in CrossFit adult classes, help their kids maintain consistency in Kid Fit attendance, and provide healthy meals at home and for school. Healthy meals consist of protein, carbohydrate (veggies), and fat at every meal. The healthy plan we follow is: lots of lean meat, vegetables, some nuts, and seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar, and no grains. These foods are the optimal fuel for both adult and kid’s bodies. We emphasize the importance of unprocessed, real foods in balanced proportions. For more information on the nutritional guidelines we follow, ask us about the CFBF Paleo Lifestyle Revolution Program. We have kids following this program and it has changed their lives! We also insist that parents of our underage athletes inform us of medical conditions and allergies that may impact a child’s health, performance, and capability.
Please make sure you child comes dressed for physical activity including:
filled water bottle
athletic shoes (not bare feet or flip flops)
proper shorts and shirt
snack after workout (if desired)

Saturday – 9:00am to 10:00am (3-10 years)

$10 per child drop in
$35/month - 1st child (members)
$45/month – 1st child (non-member)
$15/month – 2nd child (members)
$25/month – 2nd child (non-member)
