Beautiful Park. Small playground, big fields, nice walking trail and plenty of parking. It’s right by the leaf river which you can get to through some small paths through the trees. I would love to see them do some updates and create a nice space to lookout over the water. There’s also restrooms.
Pretty place ..loved walking there..me and the wife are lunch over looking the river... bonus was all the homeless under the bridge ...always a good time watching them argue with themselves
We've been visiting this park since it opened, and I can say that it is consistently clean, well lit at night, and relaxing. It has a wonderful track with beautiful trees and grass around. When the river is rushing, it really adds to the sounds of nature that surround you while you're there.
It has potential to be a really nice place but I guess they don't really want to put something they know will floord over and over. Anyway it's really just an open field with a couple benches in the sun and I bench in the shade facing bushes and weeds. And a track in the center.. I think they are trying. To make hiking trails. I like to drive my truck just past all that, back it right up to the edge of the river, sit in the back of my truck with my A1 my guy at my side eating a burger, listening to the water. But all in all they can do more with it. A better job, and make it feel safer as well. But definitely has potential.
Very nice. Very clean. We had a independence celebration
Nice place to go for relaxing in the summer time with your family and friends
Great place to walk but lots of trash and unmentionables littering the ground.
Very nice park, kept up quite well maybe too much mowing, tbh a very good place to walk and watch birds.
Beautiful, expansive park with plenty of green space and walking path. Very clean and neat.
Horrible! Beautiful area. Loud music. Abundance of open drinking and smoking marijuana around children. Parking on the walking path and behind cars in parking spaces and not being able to get out. Will not be going back! This was during daylight hours on a Friday while a child's birthday party was going on. Too bad for such a beautiful area!!
