Friendly staff and the food was pretty good! More of a tourist attraction but still pretty good!
What a perfect stop. The food was wonderful and well made from fine ingredients. Plus, we couldn't have had a sweeter server than Mandy. Our little family couldn't recommend this excellent spot anymore. Two thumbs way up
Super friendly staff! We had delicious, made to order Chili Rellanos and a HUGE plate 4 of very tasty carnitas tacos traditional with just onions & cilantro and homemade tortillas. Great taste & value.
Absolutely delicious! I took my mom and brother here while they were visiting for Thanksgiving. My mom is extremely picky and has certain dietary restrictions. The staff was so great, they gladly accommodated her requests and she loved everything she had! Something that never happens when she eats out. Thank you!!
Perfect meal! Great ambiance. Margaritas are delicious. If you're expecting Taco Bell or Tequila's then don't come here. Carlos is a great host. Felt right at home.
I have never been to a worse restaurant than this. We walk in, no hostess, cool no big deal. When the person does come, she is talking on her personal cell phone and proceeds to seat us. We were the only customers. After like 10 minutes, our server comes and it’s the same person that seated us, still on the phone! She delivered chips and salsa while she has her phone to her ear. The chips were stale. She asked what we wanted to drink, I requested Horchata and she said they were out. She then asked if we were ready to order, but she was still on the phone semi talking! I couldn’t do it, if this was the service that I was going to receive for my meal and based on the chips being stale I didn’t want to wait to see what the rest of the food was like. We went to Tequila Restaurant and received some of the best Mexican food and service!
Waitress was friendly and took care of us. The food was pretty good for small town western Colorado. The beans and rice were a bit bland, but better than most. The cheese filling on the Chile relleno had a bit of a flour undercooked taste, but was still pretty good. One of the better places we have eaten in Rifle.
After tonight I will not be back. Owner/server was rude. Ripoff for what you actually get. Paid 5 bucks for a quesadilla my toddler could have made for 30 cents. Ground beef was grey tasted off and had no real flavor other than the flavor rotten beef gives off. Kinda sad I'm all about the local guy but next time I'll go to the chain restaurant a mile down the road. Pretty dang disappointing actually. I will never be back nor will I suggest anyone go there. Except maybe a health inspector.
The food had good seasoning. Staff was new so, not very knowledgeable but nice. They did not have/we're out of two items that are pretty standard for a Mexican Food Resturant. They only gave 3 tortilla for a large serving when we requested more they charge $2.00 for 3 small flour tortillas. Never say never but won't be a 1st choice next time out.
Not impressed. I thought the pricing was a bit high for very simple food. I had a child relleno and a burrito with a side of rice. Relleno was okay with a simple red sauce on it and the burrito was maybe four inches long. Way too small! My waitress, though very nice could speak hardly any English, so answering questions about the menu was impossible.
