This is a strong warning for all considering using Vishal at chand palace catering. He is a part owner and was super friendly and accommodating during taste testing. For a 6:30 event - they showed up at The Castle at 5:00 pm for a 400 people event. They should have showed up at noon when they were allowed to be there. There were lines of people at every station with 20 plus minutes waiting. Super shortage of staff and not enough food. People go to weddings to meet with people and not stand in lines. Vishal was nowhere to be found on the floor or in the kitchen. Even his staff said that he is not here. It was an unsupervised chaos. There were no signs on top to see what food is where. I never saw floaters to give appetizers. Dinner was less chaotic but again there were lines and food finished very quickly. This guy has taken all the money and has absolutely no reason to stay in business. No responsibility. None. On the contrary we had Sunil from chand palace restaurant at home for fewer people. He fulfilled his promised contract and provided the right amount of staff with plenty of stations and everyone enjoyed the company and there was more than enough food. Food was excellent. BTW - Zafar was the executive chef in both locations. The palace should have had four times the amount of staff as sent by the absentee Vishal. Is it worth a law suit? We shall see, but no one should do business with this scam artist Vishal - who has been in catering business for more than 40 years. I am shocked at total lack of responsibility for an expensive and lavish once in a life time event.
We worked with Vishal for Chand Palace Catering during the wedding and reception. The food options were great and executed very well! Food quality/Taste and professionalism is what they are known for so we knew it was a great choice for the wedding. Vishal was constantly communicating with us especially with different needs from both family. The food tasting was definitely essential b/c we didn't realize what other creative dishes they had. So glad we did it b/c our cocktail hour choices definitely changed after that for the better. Vishal was very accomodating about that too b/c both families live in 2 different states 4-5 hours away. The only piece of feedback I have is that the welcome drinks for wedding guests ran out pretty quickly. No one in the front received this drink and our final guest number was discussed ahead of time. Again, thank you for making our wedding amazing/memorable.
Both Ajay and Vishal are very pleasant to work with. We have used them for all of our catering needs for our wedding and they always delivered as promised. They are very accommodating to all dietary restrictions and will always offer solutions. They are constantly adding new items onto their catering menu and the items are always a hit with all guests. Their food was a major highlight of our wedding cocktail hour!
Excellent catering!! Chand Palace did catering for my son's wedding in '21 for Sangeet, Wedding and Reception. Guests loved new varieties, presentation and exceptional customer service from them. Due to very positive experience, We used their services in another wedding in April ‘23. Once again they did phenomenal job in all events! Ajaybhai, Vishalbhai and their whole team went above and beyond to make everyone happy. Guests enjoyed everything.I would definitely use their services in future and highly recommend to others.Thank you very much Chand Palace Team!!
First time at Chand Palace for a wedding anniversary. Very nice venue for events, food was very good. Venue is set back off a quiet road on a steep hill with a view of surrounding hills. It was raining a bit the day I visited but the outside spaces looked nice. There are two parking lots, one down by the road and another up a long entrance drive up a steep incline. From what I understand the venue is very flexible to provide a wide range of event types for various audiences. We had a wonderful time at the event we attended, everything was perfect and the wait staff were very nice and helpful.
While going through the selection process for a caterer, the only caterer that stood out was Chand Palace. They were honest & easy from the beginning. We worked specifically with Vishal. He was a breeze to work with. We originally hired Chand Palace for our wedding & reception in 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID our plans changed. However, Chand Palace was honest & professional throughout this difficult time. Two years after postponing our events, we regrouped with Vishal again & everything picked up right where we left off. The whole process was effortless, seamless & professional. He was responsive in every element of the planning from setting up the tasting to recommendations on the menu to the final execution the day of. He was one of the few vendors we did not have any hiccups with & had no issues the day of the event. As you know, food is the main focal point of any celebration. The guests loved the food & couldn't stop raving about it. We were able to try all the food as well & everything was delicious. Chand Palace offers jain food as well which is a plus. Overall, we had a great experience working with Vishal & Chand Palace for our wedding celebrations.
A tremendous THANK YOU and job SO VERY WELL DONE executing our daughter’s wedding celebration. Ajayji , Vishalji and their outstanding staff were highly organized . They effectively prepared and delivered fabulous meals with amazing presentation on a very tight timeline, all the while maintaining their cool and focus.Everything was precisely delivered to plan: Ajayji and Vishalji , your team executed beyond our expectations. Thank you so much for everything. We received so many compliments on the every meal prepared by your most talented master chef Zaferbhai . I look forward to working with you and your team again in the future.
