Love living here. So happy the staff, Hope, Crystal, and Whitney, and the maintenance men worked so hard, to get our oasis back up and running. Happy to be a resident of Dream !!
Do not move here!!!! Absolutely nothing like they advertise!!!!!! First photo is from June 13 the last July 22 you do the math. Ridiculous. We pay over 1000 in rent for the amenities and yet the best one has been unavailable during peak season.
I love Dream Apartments! You never have a reason to fear living here. Best of all is your wonderful neighbors and community. I'm new to Owensboro, and I had no idea what to expect. I have never experienced such loving neighbors and friends. The fairly new front office staff are sincerely trying their best to meet the needs of the tenants above and beyond. Hopefully, I will be able to afford to stay as long as possible.
I had lived at Chandler Park since 2017, but after being taken over and changed to “Dream,” the quality and safety has decreased significantly. 1. Hallways are crowded with bicycles and scooters making it impossible to get through the breezeway to the apartments. Has been reported with nothing done but a text message from the office to keep hallways clear. No one walks the property to check. 3. Packages are being opened and stolen without anything done to prevent it other than sending out one of many emails that no one reads. 4. Excessive amounts of emails and text messages throughout the day from the office. 5. The office is RARELY open! When they are open, the hours have been significantly restricted when compared to the hours of business prior to buy-out. 6. Interactions with office staff since the transition to “Dream” are less than satisfactory. When expressing concerns, you are interrupted and met with a snarky attitude. I understand that the issues at the apartments are a result of the company who owns it not providing resources or any solutions for the staff to fix many of the problems. However, there is no reason to speak poorly to residents who are reporting safety issues. If anything, the residents reporting these issues should be supporting the need for resources that the staff is needing/requesting. 7. The pool looked absolutely disgusting like a swamp for over a month. 8. The few gas grills on the property are usually out of gas. 9. Filthy workout room with broken machines. 10. Tanning bed seems to be okay when available. But it can only be used when the office is open….which is rare. 11. Garage parking is available which is a plus. But if you park in the parking lot only, there have recently been a large number of parking spots marked “reserved” which you must pay extra for. And another large majority of spots are labeled “visitor”. Because of these, it significantly decreases resident parking unless you want to pay extra. These were NEVER issues when it was Chandler Park! I would NOT recommend Dream Owensboro unless you want to pay an astronomical amount of money for an apartment with amenities that you can’t use and then be talked down to by staff when issues arise.
Used to be great, new owners seemed to have ruined it. The pool looks dirtier than a lake… like almost black. Stuff is always broken or running out. Trash piles up and the yards aren’t kept as nice.
Feels like home! I don't feel like I'm stuck in an apartment. The spacious floor plan, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, crown molding & plenty of large windows to let light in makes the apartment not only visually appealing, but also welcoming. The amenities like the pool, gym, tanning bed & car wash are just a few perks of being a resident in this community. Office staff & maintenance is awesome. They work hard to make this community a place where you can live out your dreams & feel at home!
Love living here, dream makes you feel important as a tenant. The new staff is terrific. Had a slight issue, and Lindsey was on top of it. Appreciate everyone for all their hard work.
I am current resident at Dream Owensboro and have been for about one year. I would highly not recommend living here. For starters the apartment Manager Hope Holcomb is very unprofessional and doesn’t address on going issues in the apartment complex she is supposed to “manage.” The apartment complex advertises their “perks” all over their website but cannot keep the “perks” up and and running. The pool was down for over half of the summer. It was brought to my knowledge that this happened the previous summer and seems to be an ongoing issue. A pre inspection move out of my apartment was completed without knowledge and was never given a heads up that the apartment was going to be inspected. There is also very limited parking throughout the complex where you can. BUT, you can buy an assigned parking spot for an ADDITIONAL $50 a month to your rent. Oh and if you would like a garage you are charged $150 extra a month for the garage that may not even be located near your apartment. There also been issues with cars being broke into and also a lady had her apartment door “kicked” in but someone. This apartment complex does not care about their residents and they have made that very clear. Again, would not recommend.
I am very thankful to live at a place where the staff truly cares about their residents. I am very hopeful for this new staff! Lindsey is always a welcoming, smiling face in the office and will listen to whatever issues or needs we may have
Whitney in the leasing office was so kind and helpful. She did a fantastic job with answering our questions and showing us different apartments. Thank you so much and we are excited to be moving to Dream!
