I was on my usual route to work when I saw a group of people standing around the speedometer outside of this building. As I was passing by, one of the men in a suit randomly started following me and running as fast as he could next to my car! I thought he was going to follow me all the way to work but thankfully he stopped right when he passed the radar. Till this day I had no idea what they were doing. I might’ve heard him yell 31 or some number after I drove by, idk. I’ve never taken that same route to work ever since.
It is sad but I was so shocked to see so many homeless/trailers of dodgy people around the filming location of my favourite show. It smelled like a huge toilet. : And I even got yelled at by a scary woman who I thought was going to attack me! That said, it's still worth a go if you're a true blue fan. Just avoid eye contact. I was totally staring down the woman dressed fancy whom I thought was Nicky Minaj and then yelled at me
I was walking by one day and I saw two guys on the roof and they threw a watermelon and it landed on someone car roof. Hope they were able to find the owner of that car.
I'm a major "the Office" fan. It is a show I have watched over and over. I am grateful I could make a *quick* visit to its filming location, but it was more heartbreaking and depressing than it was exciting and memorable. Homeless RVs line the streets, you aren't sure who might be lurking or watching you, it feels empty and ominously quiet, and you just want to take your picture and grt out of there as fast as you can. I love the show, glad to see where it was filmed, but boy do I wish this location was better kept up.
Can anyone explain to me why I saw an african american male in bubble wrap being dragged into a car by two men with glasses???
If you're such a big fan of The Office as I am, it is apparently an amazing experience to look at a grey building through a fence on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended. Did manage to grab some asphalt where the Scranton Stranger drove over. My grandkids will sell this to buy a spaceship.
There were no homeless people. Heck, there were no people at all when I went. Maybe LA cracked down on homeless encampments recently? I just pulled up in front of the building, stood on the roof of my car and snapped a few selfies. You can't go in. Just a no-cost photo-op for fans of The Office. It was worth the drive for me and time will be your only expense. :-
I only drove past here once at night. There was, inexplicably, a full marching drum band outside and some preppy dude dancing in the snow.
Best Paper Company! The receptionist had a nice tone everytime I called, "Dunder Mifflin, This is Pam". Staples has no chance.
I used to work here many years ago for a guy named Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration. Great building, although parking was always at a premium. There was a paper company here called Dunder Mifflin where a few people worked. I became familiar with them over the years, and they were always a lot of fun. The guy who owns the building now owns a farm back in Pennsylvania. Funny story, he once crashed into a pole and threw up on his car. Always great-they even had a daycare here where kids played with forks, knives and a hot sauce packet. One time, a young man named Michael claiming to be the manager there got a bouncy house just to prove a point to one of his colleagues. Cool guy. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for office space, even as we emerge into this post-COVID era.
