We went into Simply Mac anticipating a long and complex decision-making and purchase process. Buying a new computer was a big deal for us and not a purchase we took lightly. But they made it super easy and helped us figure out what would be best for our needs. We felt really confident in the choices they helped us make and their prices were comparable to other retailers. They gave us deals where they could and none of it felt sales-pitchy. I’m glad we have a local place we can continue to access Apple-approved support from now that we are proud new MacBook owners! They had all the accessories we needed on hand, which were also of quality brands. I’m super happy with the experience and we were in and out within 30-40 minutes. Thank you!
No reason to recommend or use them. If you have Apple Care, they are going to send the device to Apple. My last interaction they shipped off a laptop to Apple for me - it came back with the same problem. So I sent it again, and it also returned with a problem. Ok - that's not Simply Mac's problem...but - when I called to tell them that this would be the third time, they told me I needed an appointment to bring it in, _and_ that a Simply Mac tech would have to document the problem... the appointment was 3 days in the future. I'd also like to point out that if Simply Mac was as interested in checking the computer _after_ they got it back from Apple, they would have caught it. But they don't do that. I called Apple directly - you don't need them - Apple sent me the box directly, and I sent them the computer directly, which is the only thing that was going to happen at Simply Mac except more wasted time.
My old computer stopped working and I needed to get some very important documents off of it. I stopped by simply Mac and they quoted me a great price. I was nervous about losing everything, but the guys at Simply Mac reassured me. My commute into Eugene is crazy long, and they were able to have a super fast turn around of a few hours because my computer issues didn't cause any harm to my hard drive. I left very happy knowing I made the right decision to go to Simply Mac
I called several times to speak with someone, but no one was available. Although they said walkins are acceptable on their site I still set an appointment online. I arrived a few minutes after my appointment time, and explained to the employee that my screen was cracked, I have Apple care + and simply would like to drop off my laptop for repair. She told me I had to set an appointment and come back later, to drop off the laptop. I attempted to inform her how inconvenient it is for me to have to come back, when I am already here with the product I need repaired. She appeared to be irritated by the fact that I did not understand why I would have to come back hours from now, or the next day to drop off a product to be repaired when I am already here with it? There was no other customers in the store, so I don't understand why I was not helped. I took my computer to Best Buy and I was treated like a valued customer, there was no run around and the business was swift and professional. I will never return to Simply Mac, because I do not appreciate the way I was handled as an adult or as a potential client.
Of course I drove to the mall to get my iwatch repaired and the Apple store was no longer there…but when I called the young woman was great about giving me a few extra minutes to get down to campus! Everyone was welcoming, friendly and patient. We compared repair to new purchase prices so I left with a brand new watch! I was there maybe 20 minutes. Great customer service.
I was referred to Simply Mac by the folks at Apple after they could not resolve the problems with my MacBook Air. The store interior is reminiscent of contemporary Apple establishments. Cameron was very efficient in diagnosing the problem and provided a reassuringly detailed plan for restoring functionality. Though it took a couple of days to get everything working again, I am very satisfied with the service and the courtesy they offered.
We had such a positive experience with Simply Mac, from the minute we walked in the door. Special shout out to Cameron in the service department for helping my mother and I during what was a very difficult time for us. His willingness to help, useful advice which helped us to resolve a weeks-long ongoing issue with Apple, and positive energy + attitude made a real difference. Thank you.
I was very pleased with the staff at Simply Mac. They acknowledged each person that walked in the door, apologized for being short handed and asked them to wait. They were all very polite, kind, caring and knowledgeable. Everyone I saw come and go while I was there left happy. I was sad that my hard drive was dead, but Marlon was able to extract a complete copy of my hard drive on to an external hard drive for me that same day, saving me another trip to Eugene. I live 1 1/2 hours away. I am very grateful that he saved all my data and work. I left Simply Mac very very grateful and happy. Thank you Marlon! I would recommend them anytime. Very nice team, they rock!
I dropped my iPhone 11 and the screen cracked. Making an appointment was super simple. The technician repaired my phone and it was good as new within a few hours. Process was made easy and I wasn't without my phone for too long. Would definitely recommend if you need help with your Apple products!
We tried to give them a chance after reading all of the negative reviews. We needed a new battery for our Mac Book Pro. We actually got through on the phone, and since we live in Florence we were told that they were out of the battery we needed and would order one for us. Once it was received we would be notified so that we could then make an appointment, and that it would only take an hour to install. After three weeks we called and after numerous attempts to get through to them which included leaving messages and receiving no call backs, we finally did get through. We were informed that the battery for some reason had not been sent from Idaho but that another one would be ordered. Again three weeks later after leaving messages and no call backs we again talked to a live person. At this time we were transferred to somebody possibly a manager, who informed us that we would have to bring in the lap top for a tech to look at it and then a battery could be ordered. We do not know what kind of operation they are running there but we certainly will not be doing business with them. We have lost six weeks, we know it needs a new battery, we provided them with model number and year of the lap top there was no reason to have to have a tech look at it. If you chose to do business with them we hope you have better luck than we did. When it's time for a new lap top I'd drive to Portland rather than buy from these people.
