Chandra Sumeet MD

I was referred to Dr Chandra because he is hematologist not for chemo. The staff at Cancer Care Center of Brevard is excellent, eminently courteous, and highly skilled. Dr Chandra is very much to the point, but willing to answer whatever questions you have. I visited both in person and virtually, and found him to be a good communicator in either medium. The infusion room is comfortable, the nurses found veins I never knew I had. Despite having a number of infusions over a short period, I never suffered any bruising or pain--they are great!

I could not ask for a better healthcare team. Everyone there is compassionate, kind, loving, and informative! I don’t know if I could get through this without them. Dr. Chandra is one of a kind, he sits there really listening to every word I say, and his PA Melissa is an angle sent from Heaven. You can feel her love every time I see her. And the nursing staff? unbelievable! Well I could go on and on. I wonder if I’m the only one who looks forward to seeing them. I thank God every day for leading to them.

I gotta say I absolutely love this place, I know dr's visits can sometimes be stressful but the employees and nurses dr etc are all very polite and welcoming. Dr Chandra was very thorugh and made sure to have everything checked and treated my issue quickly. And the ladies in the treatment side, I can't say enough about them. They are the best and will make you feel comfortable and do their jobs efficiently and with a smile.

Dr. Chandra is a very great doctor. All of my appointments.have been on time and handled well. He has answered my questions as we work towards a diagnosis and has provided insight into my condition. I appreciate his professionalism and good bedside manner especially as I have been chasing a cause for my symptoms for many years and now have found someone who can connect the dots as it were.

I've been going to Dr. Chandra since 2013. From checking in to seeing Melissa or Dr. Chandra has always been easy. They treat you like a person not a patient. When I need anything I just call the office and the response is fast whether it be a question or refill or new medicine they are on the ball. I would recommend anybody to go there for their medical needs. I just love them.

Sumeet Chandra was pleasant to speak with and he knows what he's doing medically but he can't run an office. His staff can't handle answering the phone "ever", I had to drive there to make the followup appointment. My throat cancer treatment started a month late because of his offices' inability to answer the phone and set up an appointment. I confronted him about the matter and he blamed it on the phone system. Good doctor, terrible management skills.

I’m not sure if this doctor is good at what he does, but he is definitely not friendly or caring. He definitely rushed me in and out. Didn’t even take the time to look at the paperwork I presented to him. Without knowing anything about me he quickly was referring me to another doctor. Honestly, I have no idea how this doctor has 4.5 rating. I’m shocked at his rating. Maybe I caught him on a bad day.

Front and back end Staff are horrible. Filed claim thru cigna documenting the office and poor performance. They have little to no care for their patients. Hopefully, thru this claim, Cigna will evaluate being a provider for this doctor and staff. Dr. Chandra needs to be accountable for his office, practice and staff but is not engaged.

I have felt comfortable seeing Dr. Chandra since our first meeting in early 2019. Since then we have met several times with the doctor and his excellent staff. Dr. Chandra is very straight forward and efficient with his recommendations and treatment plans. I recommend him as a primary oncologist and/or hematologist.

Good experience. The nurse Kim? that treated my wifeport flush,b12 shot, Prolia shot was excellent. Efficient, professional. Courteous, etc. A wonderful experience, no problems, and she schedules everything without a hitch. Dr. Chandra, make sure you know she is a valuable employee. Regards, Al Schuler Priscilla's spouse
