Good spot to take the RC Cars out, Especially Crawlers. The gatekeeper is where all the fun starts. This is maybe a mini Moab, rock climbs and slabs on the entire ascend. Visitors keep it clean and there's no trash - please do help keep it this way! Hiking part is fun, just short. If you haven't left the couch in months, it's gonna be a little bit of a workout but it's not too painful. Dogs friendly on the trail.
This is an interesting park adjacent to Bonita Canyon Elementary School. The park has a playground and MANY trees. There is fitness course for an outdoor workout. You can also hike the trails behind the park. Playground: There is a nice playground area with swings, a slide and a jungle gym. I think the playground may have gotten an update this week April 5, 2023. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash are welcome.
We always have a fun and relaxing time here. Usual activities include walking and exercising on the park's fitness amenities.
Excellent hike for kids, it has stairs and paved path 90% of the way to the peak. My kid enjoyed the hike to the peak. Will come back again!
Great playground with sand lots for kids. Soft green lawn. Long concrete stairs up to the trail head for Turtle Rock Viewpoint.
Lots of greenery and slightly elevated road to get to the Turtle Rock Trail. Right beside an elementary so you can head over and check it out too for a short walk.
No parking. Fast access to Turtle Rock Trail Viewpoint.
It is perfect option for short and fun trailway with kids. They loved climbing the rocks and we all enjoyed the picturesque views
The best for some small, intimate hangouts with friends or to go on picnic dates. Just went on one last night and I loved it. We just missed the sunset, but if you go early enough you'll catch the most beautiful sunsets. Turtle Rock Point is also just a short hike from the park, so you can really catch them views.
Interesting hike to a spectacular view. Yes, you climb that rock! Stairs take you to quick path up. Not necessary to climb rock to see that view. Stairs adjacent to back of school by park. Street parking.
