Room was much better than the shabby lobby and halls. Room was modestly updated with modern hotel furniture and desk and was clearly maintained. Beds were good and clean Newer wall air conditioner was quiet. This is an older hotel in need of a major renovation but it is a decent clean room, perfectly functional, in a great location and a bargain. I am OK with old as long as everything works and is cleaned, so due to location it is a top choice for me. Don't expect new or like new.
The rooms are great. They're clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the complimentary breakfast was really skimpy: coffee, juices, small amount of pastries--I wanted to make some toast, but I never could get the toaster to work! The bread wouldn't stay down in order to toast. After trying several times, I just gave up. Aside from that, I wouldn't mind staying there again.
It's not a bad place to stay by any means, and it's also rather affordable. Considering it's located right outside of Boston. But on that merit, it doesn't strive to be anything better than mediocre. Which, to clarify is not necessarily bad. As they say you pay for what you get, and this place is certainly passable... Just not much more than that. Is it a good stay? I believe it depends on your standards, but for the average person I believe they'd share my sentiments. It's a decent hotel, not particularly spacious but it managed to fit me and four others reasonably. With two twin beds; a desk, mini fridge, bathroom, and a somewhat dated TV with 10 channels. I imagine the typical college student of today to feel right at home.
The beds were super comfy. The rooms were extremely clean with very nice bathrooms. Excellent TVs as well. The only complaint I really had was the continental breakfast wasn't very good. There wasn't a very very good selection and cereal was stale. The rates were the most affordable in the city. Next time I would just bring my own cereal but I would definitely stay there again if I went to Boston
Management seem to be unattached. The room looked wonderful very clean convenient to a couple restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was nice. No view to look at. Breakfast had no diabetic options, and was very tiny. This is a no-smoking motel with no elevator . And parking is very minimal. the price that was quoted online very much changed from the price when you check in. Buy over $30. Staff was hard to understand and didn't really seem to care .. but if you're looking for a good room with lots of seating and none of the rest bothers you and it is directly next to an IHOP, then all in all this is not a bad place.
Outdated, but rooms were spacious and clean. Quiet... breakfast was adequate. AC unit worked great with no musty smell. TV only had a few stations...no local news so that sucked. Workers were friendly. Location was close enough to Cambridge area and parks.
Good price, great location. 15 minutes from Boston children's hospital, next door to Ohio, McD's, Starbucks. Simple rooms & pastries, bagels, & cereal for breakfast. Quick and efficient check in, staff were helpful and friendly. My only complaint was construction next door at 6:30am during the week, but that's not really their fault.
This was super surprising. The reviews were medicore and i was nervous staying 2 nights, however the place was well worth the money. It is a motel and you get bang for your buck. The rooms were nice and clean. Trust me, I did an in depth inspection. There was a microwave,ac, and minifridge. The service was good. Every request I asked of was fullfilled. However the tv did not have many channels that might be the only down side. The free breakfast was free, so i dont know how people can judge its quality. Its great grab and go. This motel was half the price of the cheapest hotels in boston and was well worth it. If you expect world class five star hotels, then be ready to pay the prices for them. This motel gets the job done
Bathroom is not clean. Has hair all over it. Booked a king room but the only room available had two doubles. They didn't have a manager on duty to talk to us, and I haven't seen a manager since we've been here. Came into our room while we weren't here and changed the air conditioner - weird. Breakfast was sad, store bought bagels, off brand English muffins, and three types of cereal. They had mints out for guests and we found a hair inside one. Also there was a man sleeping in the lobby when we came in one night. Then we left a half hour later and he was still there. And guess what? When we came back in another half hour, he was still there
This place has better quality amenity and service than some “higher end” hotels I’ve seen, and yet it has one the best prices. Clean room, great amenities. After our hours long road trip we had to stop here to rest.
