I once was a long time customer, and I recently made the mistake of trying them again. They are as bad as always. It has been 6 weeks, and I still have not received my cpap supply order. There is no one to talk to. The only option is to leave a message, which they will not return. They are and have always been incredibly understaffed, which leads to stressed out customer service. It could not be a worse experience. They are good at getting your orders online but do not have the supply to meet the demand. There are national companies who do a much better job. Try them.
I am astounded at the poor customer service that UW Health Care Direct offers. I ordered CPAP supplies over 2 months ago and they never arrived. I called a half dozen times trying to talk to a real person only to be sent to voicemail. No return calls or follow up. Today, I actually was able to speak to a real person who stated there was a Cyber Threat issue which caused the problem……. For two months??? I am glad I can take my business elsewhere because this company does not care about their customers. Avoid them like the plague!!
Can you leave zero stars ? On several occasions I have had to wait months for my cpap supplies after placing an order. Like others have said, there is very bad communication and lots of transfers, just to get back to square one. You are better off spending more money and ordering from Amazon, at least then you’d get it within a few days.
Don't mess up and make ANY procedural mistakes or presumptions like I did. They will not show any compassion or show any mercy on you or your bill. They wear their billing policies like an infallible armored suit incapable of human compassion or reasoning with. Wait times for CPAP machines and supplies are indeed as long/bad as the other reviews have said. Also, telephone customer service is... just average in a bad way; lots of transfers, call backs, no call backs, and dropped calls. If you have another option, try that first. If Wisconsin Sleep sent you here, go back to them and ask for another option. Caveat emptor: their 1.9 rating at the time of this writing is FULLY EARNED. Would not recommend.
Very frustrating to deal with. When I would get CPAP Supplies from Unity Point there were no problems. Supplies were easy to order and they would arrive within a week. Now, Care Direct is impossible to contact and order. They sent me a box full of supplies that go with my old machine. How to send them back, who to talk to, how to straighten this out. UW Hospital has a higher standard of excellence. Care Direct doesn't deserve the one star rating.
Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered supplies over two months ago, have had several follow up calls, and am still waiting to get even one delivery of correct disposable supplies for my therapy. I have been using the same supplies for almost 6 months now because of this. They still send me calls for supplies and when I explain I haven't even got the first order they just hang up on me. Funny enough they somehow had time and resources to send me someone else's supplies on accident. Still waiting for resolution...
I had an emergency knee replacement and was kept on iv antibiotics for 6 weeks. This company and everyone that works for them that I met….WONDERFUL. They saw me at my worst and took care of everything. My PT persons we’re fantastic as well all the nurses I had. Every time I called they lessened to me and I felt very heard. Thank you so much UW home health. I wish I didn’t have different insurance hahaha. Thanks y’all.
EDIT: AFTER all this time, turns out they need a new prescription!!!! I wondered if that was the delay, hence me calling this whole time to see if thT was the issue so I can try and have this resolved. You'd think the least they can do is reach out to said provider to request these since no one has bothered to relay that information to me. This place sucks, I've left numerous messages for the last 2-3 months regarding some Cpap supplies and no one ever gets back. Supposedly was going to receive some 2/3 months ago and NOTHING. That is why I've been calling to see what's going on and nothing. I HATE the fact that I have to go through them versus Meriter. THIS is what happens with corporate greed and big brother tries to eat up the smaller fish.
Worst customer service ever! It is August and I have been trying to obtain CPAP supplies since May. When you call you have to leave message and no one calls back. Unbelievable that UWHealth would allow this to continue.
I would give -5 stars if I could. The whole experience from this company has been an absolute nightmare!!! Over a year to get a machine and to get a mask that works for me. Going there was super unpleasant the staff acted annoyed you were even there, when questioing the fact the mask didn't fit well was blowed off. Was told that I couldn't get the CPAP mask I needed because I had to pay out of pocket but if I just waited for my renewal time I wouldn't have to pay, but then billed any. Tried dispute the bill and they made it sound like it was all my fault since I wasn't a total Karen for the beginning and tried to be patient and waited out the 6+ months. Fighting the mask they gave me, wearing it while awake to get my time in to pay for the machine. They could careless about the fact I suffered though so I wouldn't get billed but if I was told I'd get a bill either way I would have switched right away instead. Scam to get more $$$ in their pockets. Screw the patients, no follow ups. Say they would call back the next day took me calling 10+ days and me calling her. I refuse to pay for something when I did as I was told and waited for renewal. If you must deal with this money hungry company make sure you advocate for your self right off the bat, don't try to be nice and understanding they will screw you over!!!!!!!
