Awesome little movie theatre inside the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. The theatres themselves are small, but comfortable. My only criticism is that the popcorn wasn’t quite as good as what I’ve had at other theatres.
Love this place, short to no lines. Not crowded, short walk from the parking garage. Adult drinks are available, including an adult ICEE. Cherry is for adults.
Great place! Friendly staff, comfortable seating. First showing of each movie of the day no matter when it starts, is $5 plus tax per person. Except Wednesday. All showings are $5. Free garage parking.
Swanky as heeeeck. I was a little confused where I was at as I wandered through what felt like a high end hotel?! But the theater it’s self is quite chill. Very reasonable prices, $7 per before 5:30 I believe is what the sign said. Concessions seemed pretty basic didn’t get anything the theater, as in where you watch the movie, the one we went to was quaint. Not a massive screen where you crane your neck up 10 feet if you’re in the front row. I don’t need a massive screen and doubly digital shaking your seat 3D experience. If you do, go somewhere else. My only complain is I LOVE recliners. And the cushy chair could bounce back, but I had to maintain that position
Concessions are great, staff is super friendly. We love going during Christmas to see The Chase all decorated. Appreciate the matinee and Wednesday pricing!
A very nice movie theater inside and out. I watched the movie Dune which was very engaging and interesting on top of plenty of drama and action. At $5 for movies on Wednesday nights you just can't beat it! There's plenty of snacks like candy, popcorn, and unlimited soda refills. I'll definitely be back for another show next week!! Still great the 3rd and 4th times around, and the popcorn is warm, buttery, and delicious.
First movie experience in Saint Louis, and after a while, courtesy covid. We loved it. Me and my wife got early bird tickets, $5 + $1 convenience for the new Poirot movie. The plaza itself is interesting and has a retro vibe. Screens are big, sound is great, movie was amazing. So, $12 tickets + $6 popcorn + plus located in Central West end, where we live, will make us go back for sure. I plan to take my full family sometime, buy wine by the bottle and see a movie . An update: watched our second movie. It's right before Christmas week, it was great to see the hotel lobby all decked up.
I love the chase but my popcorn was really stall the last time I went to see Barbie and I don't like how they reuse the popcorn for the next day. Not cool
I went to the Chase Park Plaza movie theater on 7/28/23 to see Barbie. I parked in the parking garage attached to the hotel/movie theater because it seemed safer and online it said that the movie theater validates parking. I met some friends for dinner at The Preston restaurant inside the Chase and we also had a drink at the Chase Club before the movie. Before the movie started I went to the concession counter to get a validation slip for parking. When I went to leave the garage after the movie, the validation slip did not work. It gave me an error saying something about "invalid ticket" and "exceeded maximum use". I'd never used this slip of paper before, as I'd just received it from the concession counter a couple of hours previously. I ended up having to pay a whopping $37 to exit the parking garage. That is absolutely ridiculous. The movie ticket itself was $12, so parking was 3x the cost of the ticket. Plus I'd already gone to the restaurant and the bar so I gave plenty of my money to the establishment we were visiting. I reached out to the movie theater requesting a refund since their validation slip did not work but I still have not heard back. I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service and the fact that they are advertising parking validation when that clearly is not true. A friend who parked in the same garage that night experienced the same problem with the validation slip and has also been unable to reach someone to get a refund.
My wife and I went this theater this Saturday and we enjoyed ourselves. Very clean small theater attached to a nice hotel. The service was very friendly as well. We will be back for sure!
