Chava's Mexican Restaurant

Friend of mine told me about Taco Tuesday at Chavez. Service was very good and servers came to a table often. I got the six street tacos, three chicken three steak. The tacos were very bland and used salsa and other condiments to kick it up.Food: 2/5

Really good food, I think it definitely deserves the name of best Mexican food in the city. The sever was also really nice and answered any questions and gave pretty good recommendations. I had the lunch flautas, which were so good, and it was just the right amount of food for a great price.Food: 5/5

The staff at Chavas was friendly and the atmosphere was standard for a Mexican restaurant. We were a party of six and half of us were satisfied with our meal while the other half was not not much flavor was the main complaint. It took a long time to receive our check but this may have been because some of the food wasn’t silly eaten.Food: 3/5

I love this place you can hardly find good food anywhere even close to this cheap this is my new favorite resteraunt I’ve been going at least 2 times a week for the past couple weeks trying something new everytime and I haven’t even almost been disappointed once. Vegetarian options: They have multiple different vegetarian options my girlfriend is vegatarian and usually struggles to find something on the menu but never here Parking: They have a huge parking lot but you have to be careful of the pot holes at the entrance Kid-friendliness: They have a whole entire dining room away from the bar

Food was excellent... Ordered the fajita beef nachos. Would have given higher rating had service been better... HOWEVER, I understand several places are short-staffed due to the "pandemic". My ticket was $11.18 but I still tipped Emily $4. A couple other guests were noticeably agitated but there were only 2 ladies working so...

I’m sad that Chavas is so bad. I go there all the time, but I’ve finally had enough. They have what I want, but their service is very poor. Their turn over rate is very high, half their waitresses are really rude for some reason. I’ve had many issues with wrong orders but this last one is the worst. I had to go back twice to fix my order. The drive is 40 min there and back, and I made it three times. I told them I wanted my food right and a full refund. This is the first time I’ve asked for a refund. The manager said all he could do was give me my food, and a half refund because: “Well, you’re gonna eat the food, right?”. If I had only come back once that might be fair, but I had to come back twice. This, on top of changing the portion size of salsa to a third of what a large was and keeping it at the same price of about $3.50, has put the final nail in the coffin for my business with Chavas, Muskogee.

This was a recommended place from a friend as a lunch stop during a motorcycle ride. It looks non discript but awesome once inside. Clean, smelled delicious all at once was politely welcomed and told to sit where we wanted. Very quick a nice waitress showed up asked if we knew what we wanted. I explained it was our first time and we were unfamiliar with the menu. Well let me tell you something, she dropped at least a 40+ item menu and n is and a drink menu. I could make this really long but here's the condensed version, amazing and hot, quick but not super quick time enough to smash the fresh free chips and salsa not too much not too little. Now for the best part, after all this is over I've finished my beer but left 3 bites behind as did the wife. Tip and all for lunch was 23 USD!!!!! I definitely recommend and will be going back thru as often as possible.

Aubrey is AWESOME! Great skills as a waitress, she offered delicious recommendations! Enjoyed every food choice I made. Definitely will return.

This is the best place I've tried in Muskogee, hands down. It's also the only Mexican place my California-bred husband likes in Oklahoma. The food really is amazing. Vegetarian options: Great vegan and vegetarian options!

Very nice people with really good food i love eating here. And love the chips and dip. The atmosphere is family friendly. Great place to eat.Food: 5/5
