My family and I decided to try this place a few weeks ago, and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, we were seated very quickly, but the floor was so sticky, I felt that my shoes were about to be pulled off. And the food was just awful. I ordered a salad before my meal, and I was given a tiny bowl of lettuce and a HUGE glob of ranch. I didn't even eat it. When I received my Three cheese Jack Daniels chicken dinner, the chicken tasted like it was moved from the freezer straight to the microwave, that didn't even melt the cheese that was slapped on top. The only thing I can honestly say was decent were the rolls. Once my husband received the bill, I was done. Our children did not eat at their advertised price. And our food was definitely not worth what we paid for! I will NEVER take my family to this place again.
The waitress was very sweet, the fireplace was great and the bathroom was nice. The food however was not top quality. More like the Swan's man had been there to deliver pre cooked packaged meats. The potatoes tasted like Hungry Jack instant and was topped with powdered gravy. Someone in the kitchen must be afraid of seasoning.
The website in no way represents the actually menu. In fact it could literally be called bait and switch. The prices in the restaurant were literally 2 to 3 times higher than what you find on THEIR website. They offer a very pricey, but huge rib-eye. It was perfectly cooked, but it has a seasoning that gives it a very rustic flavor, not horrible but not representative of a quality cut of meat. Now the good, location, decor. Now the GREAT, If you decide to go, ASK for SHEENA.. As generally disappointing as the dining experience was she was an incredible server. One of the best ever to wait on me.
This is worst place to eat. My husband and I both got a steak. I got t the shrimp with mine. There was 4 fried shrimp and instant mash potatoes with my steak. The shrimp tasted so bad I could not chew and swallow it. It was freezer burnt bad. The steak was like leather. My husband ate his because he was so hungry. Our bill was almost $100.00. We was very upset. Do not go here to eat, you do not get what you pay for.
It took 15 minutes to get two waters, 40 minutes to get a single fried appetizer that was ordered at the time the water was and almost an hour to get two almost identical orders of fried fish. A single water refill took about 15 minutes from the time the cup was emptied and placed at the edge of the table. The table of four that ordered 30 minutes after our table of two received their orders well before we did. The food was extremely salty I had to douse my fish in tartar sauce to cut the salt, the protein and two sides were three extremely different tempratures, the fish being slightly warmer than room temperature, and managed to be overcooked. This was all done at the beginning of the dinner rush on a Friday during Spring Break, before it was busy. TL; DR: super duper slow service, inattentive waitstaff, extremely low quality food for the price. I recommend the McDonald's next door over this place. You'll get the same quality food faster for a better price.
My family stopped in on our way to the race track coming from Tulsa. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot so I assumed this had to be a good place to eat. We were seated quickly but, it took at least five minutes before our waitress took our drink order. That's not too bad really but longer than it should have been. When we got our drinks the sweet tea was not sweet. Later we heard a different waitress tell another table that someone forgot to sugar the tea. Nothing was done to rectify our teas and we weren't offered a refill until after we got the bill. My wife and I decided to try the ribs. We shared a whole rack. When we got our plates one slab of ribs was completely charred on one side and the dish was plated in a manner that seemed like the cook knew this and tried to hide it. My wife told the waitress and she brought us out another half rack. Last night I began to feel nauseous and this morning my wife woke up feeling the same. In closing the service was slow and inexperienced. Teenagers seemed to be their wait staff. The food made us sick and for the over all quality, the entire menu was very over priced. For what they're charging they could at least make real mashed potatoes instead of the instant crap we were served. Even the chicken fried steak my daughter ordered seems like low brow frozen crap. Thanks for the upset stomach. DO NOT EAT HERE!! IT SUCKED!!!
The first time we went the service and food and atmosphere were great but the most recent visit was awful the wait it took just to get our drinks was ridiculous considering it wasn't busy employees had personal items strewn across the restaurant and the waitress was distracted greatly. The prices for the food were very overpriced as well, $23 for 8oz. steak...
When this place opened it was great. I am not sure what happened but it has certainly gone down hill... They seriously need to add a better selection to the menu, which is basically an over priced hamburger place with a few steaks... Cook the food to be at least be worth what you are charging.
The food was delicious. We visited on a late Friday afternoon. The service was a bit slow, we weren't in any hurry, but felt like maybe we were a bother. And our server was tired...
This is a steak house? We went in there around 7 pm on a Saturday and we were told, "Sorry! We're out of steaks." Well, no problem! We won't waste our time, again.
