This time food was good. Service awful. Had one side only for door dash drivers, but no sign showing this was their side until I drove into the lane and had to back out and get into another lane which caused me to be further back in line. They had no milk shakes, no syrup for the slushy, no napkins and the automatic machine taking my order did not work properly and kept messing up my order. Checkers on old national sucks!
So this was the worst experience at a Checkers EVER.. Went to Georgia last weekend and wanted Checkers because we no long have one in the city. My food was Cold like it had been in the bag from another order that was given back. The girl taking orders was rude and wasn't listening to what I was saying. When I got to the window she handed me my drink and dropped the straws. I told her the drink I ordered was supposed to be with no Ice she rolled her eyes poured it out and filled the cup and put the top back on with some running down the cup. No napkins and didn't even give me straws just moved on like she couldn't be bothered. It was dirty inside and I took one bite and I threw it away because it was cold and the bacon was rubbery.
Went around 1 am and the customer service was horrific. I was told that they were out of mozzarella sticks and that they took it off the order, but before I could say that it was fine, the person at the window said “do you want my manager”? “I’ll go get her” before I could even respond. They weren’t even out of mozzarella sticks so it was all for nothing. I’m white, have sort of a “Karen” haircut, and the lady at the window was black. Seemed very hateful to me other people who were in line before me. I have worked in fast food and food service for a while. So I was trying to give her the benefit of doubt, however no part of the interaction with her was good. She also didn’t change her gloves once between customers or after leaving the window to check on orders or whatever. On another note the food itself was just not good. Either too bland or too salty and flavorless. That probably has nothing to do with the employees. Was thrown off by the robot voice at the drive thru.
Very nice customer service the food could use a little bit more I'm not going to lie the reason why I say that because I'm a excellently food testerFood: 3/5
Just left Checkers on Old National. Went up there for my lunch break the line extra long and slow. Order a number one combo extra mustard and pickles large. Got back to work in the parking lot ready to eat my sandwich my Big Buford had no lettuce no tomatoes barely any ketchup no extra mustard and two pickles. Lol wow. I seen at least four to five people in their working. Sad
First time eating the food. According to taste and texture the burger meat seemed a little strange. Like it may have not been 100% beef/meat. Maybe some type of filler added? Besides the meat the rest of the sandwich was tasty. Bun was fresh and the cheese and condiments on it were good.Food: 3/5
Was there last night picking up a door dash order....both drive thru were packed....the lead guy was working, sliding around in flip flops....he never came to the window to acknowledge us customers....there was a sign in the dirty window...that read walk up is closed! How do u close a walk up? Lol...he never came to window...so checkers u lost three door dash orders that night....this the second time this place has been rude...I will never eat there...the place is filthy....and they had an inspection posted in the window from 2 years ago. I took a picture as well...hope I can post it here...update no checkers I'm not going to website to respond to this issue...if u really concerned.....give me a direct email.
Horrible customer service! Like why do you have an attitude about doing your job?! I didn't come to your house to eat. The food was overpriced and not that tasty. Spending $10 for a combo and getting a small fry is ridiculous. The fries tasted hard and old at that. The chili dog tasted like it was from days ago. Definitely won't be back to this location.
Terrible experience. I encourage all dashers to find a different checkers to contract with. Whether you’re a dasher or just a regular customer, you should receive SOME sort of customer service. However, at this location you will not receive it. Tonight I received two door dash orders. I arrived to the location with 2 cars in front of me. After waiting 20 minutes I was then serviced. No big deal. I then get to the window and I’m greeted by a lady with long bright red braids. I inform her of my orders and she walks away appearing to go get my orders together. After waiting another 10 minutes, she returns and states that she “forgot about me” That “they are very busy” and to “please not have an attitude”. In confusion I responded “okay.. no attitude here” and gave a nice big smile. Another 5 minutes later, another worker with a ombré wig and bright blue shirt, returns to the window asking for my order. I explained to this worker that I already gave my order to the other worker. She says nothing and closes the widow. After waiting another 10 minutes… the lady with the bright red braids returns with ONE of my orders. I proceed to sit for another 10 minutes for my other order. After waiting for 10 minutes and noticing that neither ladies are making eye contact with me, I honk my horn. Both ladies proceed to work and not come to the window. After a few more minutes the lady with the bright blue shirt/ ombré wig comes to the window seemingly very annoyed, giving me a very disturbed face. I inform her that I need my second order and without asking me for the name, she immediately tells me she does not have it. I ask her why no one informed me of that when I received my 1st order, and explained that I was sitting there waiting. She says “we don’t have your ordered”. I then ask her if she can please ask the lady with the red long braids who initially serviced me. She says nothing. Rolls her eyes, slams the drive threw window door, and walks away. The two ladies proceed laugh. I sat there for a few more moments, very confused, and STILL hoping they would get the 2nd order. They never came back to the window and with the line building up behind me I unfortunately had to cancel the order. Not only did I miss out on money and a good checkers experience, but so did the customer. I can’t say enough, how disappointed I am with this location. I left very upset. I’m very understanding to long wait times. However, there’s NO excuse for what I experienced tonight.
They either are out of several items, only taking online orders, closed due to system being down several times a week, short staffed, or ignore you when you want to order! I'm sick of the unprofessionalism, dirty area, unclean employee appearance, greesy and old food, and the lack of leadership and no standard. Do better!!! Wayyy better or close the store down and put something healthier and hire management who care and not afraid to uphold a better standard.
