I don’t usually do fast-food reviews because, you know…it’s fast-food. BUT, I’ve gone to this location twice in the last 2 weeks to give them a chance before a bad review. Not sure how long they’ve gone to an automated voice system for taking orders, but I’d figured this would give hands more time to focus on their fast-food craft. Well, I opened my sandwich and had thought it was a burger because it was darker than the usual spicy chicken I’m used to. This has occurred twice. Absolutely horrible. It was like biting into a fresh, new, salted sponge, but the sponge would’ve tasted better. Fries were great, though, but that’s their pride and joy. Please do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

The food was good, the fries were good. I had a bacon cheeseburger wife had a chicken sandwich. My burger had to be fixed before eating it, bacon was coming off and top bun was only half on. My wife's chicken was very dark, old grease was our first thought. She said it was ok. Her wait in line was a bit long for "fast" food.Food: 3/5

First, I sympathize with the employee who was alone to take orders, make food, etc. I stopped at this location after first stopping at Wendys next door which had a long line. There was only 1 other car here. I waited over 5 minutes to order my #1 combo. I then waited over 10 minutes to get to the window and pay. Finally got my order and this was the worst fast food burger I think I have ever received. It was literally falling apart when unwrapped. No napkins, no fries, never again. I should have waited inine at Wendys.

I arrived and I was very polite. It took around 5-10 minutes to place my order. While placing the order I was specific on the fact I didn’t want vegetables. The dude then took cheese off of my cheeseburger! Then I got sandwhiches with vegetables and noooo cheeseee. I then very nicely went to talk to the lady and told her it was made incorrectly. Then after being ignored for a while she responded “just pick it off and she doesn’t care. Then walked away”. Worst experience iv ever had and the biggest waste of money.

Person at the window was rude about the rewards we had even though we showed her on the phone. She took several times to get number correct then said you have none. All the time rolling her eyes at my husband. This location has always been difficult to deal with.Food: 2/5

Came here tonight and bought a Texas toast steak burger and large fry.  Let's be real: The only reason you should be going to Checker's for is the fries. They are unique and one of the best seasoned fries around. These did not disappoint, as they were hot crispy and fresh, straight from the fryer.  The steak burger however, really wasn't that good. The two pieces of Texas toast was soggy from grease, butter and mayo. The Patty itself was dry resulting in this weird combination of a grease soaked yet dried out texture. The onion straws were alright, and probably the best thing about the otherwise bland greasy mess.  Service was fast and friendly though, and the fries were awesome.

Food is great.  Poor staff or lack of is the issue.  One person running around doing everything, she did great but was slow because of thr lack of staff.  Hire more peopleFood: 4/5

Updated post from years ago. Hubby gets a craving for the fries about once a year. So I go pick up the poison and am convinced this chain is trying to kill people.  The salt content is off the chart. This is the last time.Food: 3/5

Haven't had checkers un so long , it was so delicious we had to drive home not to far to drive by the time we got home the food was still hot, customer service was fast, and friendly.Food: 5/5

Fries were cold. I only ordered two items and had to turn around and go back to get one of the two items as I didn’t look in my bag at first. And my sprite had no syrup just soda water; though the staff was friendly and patient.
