Do Not Expect True Justice There is a clear reason why this little township rakes in so much money a year off of traffic violations. The staff members were clearly biased when i chose to exercise my rights to a trial !!! A innocent person wouldn’t want to take a plea. The prosecutor, judge and window clerk they really had the surprise face going questioned my decision to take the matter to trial. With that said i doubt i would get a fair shake.
Unfortunately, 1 star is required to review. Corrupt officers and a court that backs them. Good luck.
I hate how everyone gives a bad rating just because there mad they broke the law and have to go to court. This court is probably the most easy going court I’ve been to.
Very friendly and fast service.
Glad the police called me when they located my daughter's bus pass. Thank you.
Only court I’ve been to that does not offer extensions for traffic violations of any type. Exact words of one of the employees “well, we don’t offer extensions for these violations if you can’t pay it by the date you’ll just get a letter from the DMV that your license has been suspended” The only reason this is rated two stars is simply because they try and get everyone out as quickly as possible.
Brand new, beautiful building. Every time I have been there, from when I had to file a small claims case, to criminal charges, the court clerks have been friendly and helpful. Five stars to the court clerks. The Court Officers are also extremely helpful and make the process of going through the metal detector great, they will joke around with you or tell you where you need to go and offer any other help they can, just great guys. Five stars to them also. Only issue I ever had was with a Judge. The corrupt police department more on that if you google Cheektowaga police had charged me with a felony for simply spinning my tires in front of them while they were working off duty security. Stupid young kid move, yes I know The police officers had a back room conversation with the Judge and got him to set my bail at a ridiculously high amount, for doing a burnout, even though I brought myself to the court and turned myself in the same morning when I found out about the warrant. I'm sure some laws were broken by their back-room deal, but that's the nature of the Cheektowaga Police. Also, what else can you expect when the police department and the courthouse are in the same building...
The one Police officer yells out, “What are you here for?” When you first walk in. This is inappropriate. He expects me to yell back to him so all can hear. The women in charge of Small claims/evictions is so rude, inpatient, and not helpful.
I appear in this Court as an Attorney quite frequently. The staff is friendly and professional, and the new facilities are impressive.
They about that check take the deal or lose in court no matter what
