Service and environment here is always welcoming and pleasant. Large dining area would be awesome for small group,Great home-style dishes and a wide variety of appetizers/pub-grub. Been here several times for their Ham & beans special comes with cornbread and fried potatoes and very filling portions if your out and about. Today I tried the Hamburger-steak special ...Great!

I've always liked food I bought here in person, but ordering is a far different story. I ordered a large tenderloin for over $15 and it was barely bigger than the bun. That's not a large tenderloin in Indiana. On top of that, the bun was toasted BLACK. Completely black. And to round out this delivery order, the chips were stale. I know you can do way better than this. Please value delivery orders as much as you do in house orders. Complete waste of money.

Great experience. Bartender was working solo but still managed to get our order, change out legs, clean and work on closing duties. Had beer and queso fries, food was good, pretty standard bar fare. Looking forward to visiting again. Nice atmosphere, definitely a fitting name for this friendly hometown bar. Vegetarian options: Husband is GF but was able to share queso fries with me and it was fine. I hear the chicken and noodles are good.

We had been on the road all day and it was late when we arrived. The young lady was very cordial and welcoming. She took our drink order she ask if there was anything else we would like. We ask if she had anything in the kitchen... especially since it was late. She had limited items available, but she said she could fix something off of that list. We had fried mushrooms. They were delicious!

It's a regulars bar no doubt. My wife and I walked in with 2 friends, and it was like a scene from a movie. The music stopped, and everyone stopped and stared. Made all of us feel uneasy. I went to the restroom and a customer asked me if I was good? He stated he was a mechanic? Lol. Beer was cold, but the drinks were a litte on the weak side. Overall not a bad experience, but not a great one either.

Foods is honstly really great surprisingly, atmosphere is ok. So why the one star for this review? I was charged for five beers when I ordered and drank three, guess the bartender woman that's always there bartending serving me that day thought I wasn't going to leave a tip or mixed my tab with someone else's. No reason to upcharge your customers and pocket their cash or mix up tabs and end up losing good paying customers for good because of it. Unfortunate experience overall. I'd recommend any other bar in Muncie other than The Hitching Post, imo Cheers & ESPECIALLY The Hitching Post are the worst bars to go to in Muncie Indiana in my experience of hitting bars. Parking: Parking is pretty good, never had a problem trying to find a spot to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has a ramp making it perfect for wheelchair accessibility.

I gave two starts because the service was great. The bartender was extremely friendly, and not overly priced, but the drinks are very weak, and if your going for karaoke don't. The DJ picks all the regulars first even if one comes in after you. I sat for over an hr and never had the chance to get up. I seen her skip several ppl past me to give them a chance. After over an hr of sitting there I decided to leave. For karaoke go to Champs bar.

Great little bar and an awesome breakfast the French toast is off the chain!!!!!! There's no other way to describe it there patty melt plates at night are awesome!!Food: 5/5
