The Chen Art Gallery is located inside of Sunrider International. It is one of the most extensive collections of ancient Chinese art, and now it also has a growing European art collection. Please call in advance to book a free tour of the museum.
"Welcome to the Chen Art Gallery. The Chen Art Gallery is a non-profit museum that houses one of the most important collections of Chinese art in the United States. Operated by the T.F. Chen Family Foundation the museum showcases the collection of world renowned herbalist and pharmacist Dr. Tei Fu Chen and his family.Located within Sunrider International, the Chen Art Gallery displays an impressive array of over 1,000 artifacts spanning 5000 years of Chinese history from the earliest Neolithic Era pottery to early 20th Century creations. Permanent exhibition galleries include a sumptuous Qing dynasty imperial throne room, an elegant Ming dynasty bedroom, jade carvings, snuff bottles, cloisonné & gilt bronze Buddhist statues."
