Honestly this place ranked up to my top 3 favorite places in VA!!! This is the ultimate perfect place to take your kids. Amphitheater, short but extremely entertaining hike for the young ones, water park, playground, volleyball courts… you name it!! Even for your doggies this is a fabulous place to take them!!! What a gem! Highly recommend anyone to visit and spend some good quality time here let your little ones explore all the instruments while they hike!!! Uughhh the best
Fantastic FREE playground, spray ground, and paved nature trail inside of Lee District Park. Ample parking. Limited concessions available, mostly ice cream, and they sell out of that pretty quickly. Make sure the kids have water shoes on for the spray ground no flip flops but parents can wear flip flops. If you haven't been yet, it's an absolute must even if it's a bit of a hike from where you live!
Great place to bring your child. The play areas are devided by age groups. There is plenty of space for the big kids and toddlers. There are pavilions with picnic tables available. The Merry go round and water park had not opened up yet. I am going to have to return in the summer when those are operating.
Really nice playground for kids of all ages, right next to a waterpark. Amazing. Woods are right next to it with space for picnic or bbq. I like this place.
What a wonderful place to take the kids. A great asset to the area. Shaded areas are available but can be hard to get if you are not early.
Perfect place for kids play , optional choices for adults can play kids or else nice and enough place to n sit watch , not much crowded, I just love go going with family
Fun playground area with enough space for safe social distancing. Chrissie"s trail is short and easy and will keep your little one running to the next find! The adjacent spray park looks big for warm weather. Picnic tables and benches available, rental shelters also. The bathrooms were closed. Free parking available.
Great playground but no swings. Located next to splash pad.
Wonderful playground for different age groups. Also the parks trail is awesome with animal carvings around each corner that kids can look for. Not to mention the music stops along the trail. We had a great time.
Very fun with beautiful surroundings! Better to go in the fall when the splash pad isn't open as it gets crazy busy.
