I live in the Hampton Roads area where malls have been a rapidly vanishing breed. Remarkably, CTC seems to be in relatively good health. Admittedly, my visit occurred around Christmas. So, I don't know that this was necessarily an accurate barometer of health. Still, the fact that it preserves anchor tenants is a good sign
My go to for Ulta, Bath & Body Works, Old Navy, TJ Maxx, etc. Plenty of parking around the whole mall. Also has nice food court but offers other places in and outside the mall. Always clean and pleasant place to shop. Will be back soon
The wife and I have done a couple of vendor pop ups at the mall. The first pop up was in a high traffic area and very busy day, which was good for business. The second pop up was not as successful, we were moved to the dead area of the mall, by Sears which was CLOSED and At-Home. Hopefully the mall staff will do a better job working with Colorful Desires in the future to provide a better space.
Walked around Chesterfield Towne Center with my kids for some window shopping. Typical mall with stores like Aeropostale, Spencer’s and jewelry stores and basic food court. There is a Barnes and Noble attached to sneak away for some reading or searching their board game section. It was not very crowded during the weekday afternoon that we went. One area of the mall seems deserted with only a handful of stores occupying space.
There's generally enough parking, even when it's very crowded. The mall has a good mix of stores, from clothing to makeup to jewelry to a tattoo parlor, and more. The food court has some limited options, but a lot of the options are very delicious. I highly recommend Honolulu Barbecue. I've been going there for years and it never gets old.
A great mall to get just about anything you need. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when there was a Disney Store here! The mall is indoors and has much better prices than Short Pump & Stony Point. I stop by here from time to time when I’m in the area. You should stop by too!
It's an ok mall. I think the time of malls are phasing out. And this one seems to be doing so, but it still has good perks, it still has some busy days. But overall I just think it's an okay mall, it used to always be busy back in the day.
24DEC21Not very many people here this morning and not very many Christmas decorations. Doesn't seem like Christmas.12SEP21 Been going to this mall for years. I especially like Penney's. Also Chick-fil-A. I like to sit outside the food court and "people watch". The variety of merchants is a good thing.
Was a surprisingly still very active mall. Coming from a town where the only mall is in disrepair and is rarely ever visited, it was nice to see some hustle and bustle. The food court was fairly packed and there was a wait for some of the vendors. The mall was clean and from what we experienced, was well laid out. Also went to Red Robin that was much better quality and service than the one at home. Overall, it was a pleasant throwback to a thriving mall we all remember from our teens. It was great to see so many food options as well. Multiple full restaurants but also some niche smaller franchises as well. Wanted to make it to Auntie Annies but the line was too long. It was also interesting to see a JC Penney that had not been closed down. The center area had a water feature with a spiral fireplace which was cool as well. Not sure about all the other shops because we didn’t venture too far on our brief walk. There were a good number of people but also plenty of seating both in the food court an around the general area as well. If in the area again, will definitely stop by for a longer visit.
Richmond is a big city, it's a shame that it only has two important shopping centers, this one is very nice even if it doesn't have all its premises operating. Still I consider it a good place to go shopping.
