The Chicago State University Foundation helps one student at a time raising money for scholarships and programs that empower our students to succeed.
The Chicago State University Foundation is the principal fundraising office of Chicago State University. The mission of the CSU Foundation is to raise funds from individuals, foundations and corporations focusing on the areas of technology, scholarly research, student scholarship, and facilities.
The CSU Foundation was incorporated on December 20, 1968, as an independent, charitable, educational, not-for-profit corporation. The Foundation was started for the purposes of encouraging giving to the University, administering these gifts, and assisting in the development and expansion of facilities of the University. It was emphasized that the Foundation was to secure support for needs which state-appropriated funds were either unavailable or severely limited.
