Very pretty picnic area. No playground. Nice restroom. Pretty stream. The water fountain Stinks to all heavens. Neat rock areas. I can not wait to do this again. Playground: There is no playground. Restrooms: Restrooms are nice Picnic area: Perfect picnic area. Lots of tables and lots of areas, all spaced out for privacy. Sunny or covered in trees.
Made our reservations weeks out on the very easy website. Using the website & google earth I found the perfect campsites. The Disabled Veterans discount was helpful. The camp host very full of input about the campgrounds & local area. Campsites were very clean & maintained. We even walked around picking up any trash raccoons had pulled out of dumpsters. Yes raccoons were out so make sure you store all food properly. Camping during the week is outstanding. We had the whole area to ourselves for a few nights. Showers & bathrooms were great, clean, & working very well. You will very much love this place.
Not too far Cool water. Quiet & full of vegetation. We had tons of fun!
Only a short 2 hour drive from Wichita Falls is this beautiful recreational park and it's completely free. It has multiple trails, water activities and wild bison you can observe. There's plenty of parking and shade too! It overall is a great place for a family friendly day trip.
We hauled bicycles out to the park. It was fun riding through the beautiful country side. Afterward we swam at little Niagara and cold off. Restrooms: Plenty of restrooms.
Drove down from North Central Missouri. Yes there really are springs and YES you can swim. Pictures do not do justice. I'll definitely be visiting again and bringing the kids next time. Very family friendly. Restrooms: Available Picnic area: BBQ grills too
Loved this park! It's free. A lot of different spots to get in the very cold refreshing water. Lots of parking and plenty of park rangers keeping an eye out to make sure everything is okay .
Absolutely amazing! I'm new to Oklahoma and have visited a few lakes. This has to be one of the prettiest!
