We used to love this place until they hired the two new bigger white women that currently work there. They have so far yelled at my children for running around and for my 4 year old being in a 0-3 play area because he wanted to play with his little sister. I'm trying to decide if the harassment is worth the membership. Used to be a fun place where parents can relax now I feel on edge the whole time I'm here. I will be recording next time to show the tone and just the energy my children receive from these women. as they walk past me or ignore me and talk to my children, who does that?!? Please do not try and gaslight me whoever responded first. I have been a member since the first week Wonder Universe officially opened and even during the height of the pandemic, my children were never yelled at for running or for playing in the meadow with their shoes off. So yes, we will be returning to enjoy our membership.
I cannot believe how fun this place was and for 8$ they also offered a membership that would save a whole lot of money if you plan to go more than once! Just a wonderland for kids!
As my child has gotten older4yo he has less fun here. I wasnt impressed with only having one changing station for diapers in the breast feeding room. At the time my littlest needed a diaper change there was a line. There are a lot of little activities that my kids do like. That is why it still gets a 3 star review
Always fun for my son. Get a 3 month pass if you plan on going once a week or more. Lots of toys and pretend dentist, kitchen, grocery store, and a big train table. Wish they would add more or rotate the setup once in a whileWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entry$6–10
Just want to let everyone know that this facility segregates people by their personal decision to wear masks or not. They say they identify as women owned, yet they are causing immense psychological trauma, mental health, and identity related issues to our most beloved children. Not to mention that coercing people into doing something with their body that they do not want to do in order to offer service is simply wrong. Opening our eyes and seeing the truth is long past due.. Looking forward and hoping for change May God shed some light on the people in charge.
Had an awesome time with my daughter! Very clean and organized facility! So many fun activities for toddlers and kids!
This place is great, if you can ever go inside. Don’t make plans around this place, better to visit randomly so your not disappointed when they rent the facility out for the day for birthdays and your notification is a piece of paper on the door. This being our second weekend we tried to visit, we made it past the gate all the way to the desk where they told us to try again next week.
It’s a cute place where kids can play and have fun, but every adult who steps in must pay the full admission as well which is frustrating. If you are standing back and allowing your child to free play then it feels unnecessary to charge especially if you bring grandparents, your teen, etc who will just be sitting there bored after the first supervising adult. 24$ for 2 adults and a child. The new location is larger but has mostly empty space. I prefer the old location in a cozy nook in Blacksburg. 5 stars for previous location, 3 stars for this one.
I’m thankful to have this space in the NRV. It has a lot to offer families - different stations catered to different aged children - and is a place my small kids ages 3 and 1 could spend hours in.
Wonderful place for children! If I could give more stars I would.
