The Children's Museum of Memphis is located in Midtown Memphis at 2525 Central Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
CMOM’s mission is to create memorable learning experiences through the joy of play in hands-on exhibits and programs. The museum offers interactive and educational exhibits and programs for children and their families. The museum houses over 20 hands-on exhibits.
The museum is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.



"30+ exhibits. Admission is $15 per person over the age of 12 months. Free for museum members and children under one. Open Tue-Sun from 9a-5p."

Usually busy during weekends and light load during the weekdays. The place is well kept, replenished and taken care of. The staff are incredibly nice, kid loving and friendly. They helped me find my kid too, when I got distracted myself They constantly improve their setups and Im just pleased altogether. It’s now summer, and they have a water playground running outside. Definitely for me and worth subscribing again the next year.
I took my grandchildren here for a fun activity to do together. It is fun for the kids as there are many categories of learning fun. It’s a very spacious facility. It’s clean and well maintained. I only wish they would replenish the Kroger shopping activity with better looking toy foods. They have become very worn with time. There is a fun outside play area as well.
Amazing fun place! I have taken many groups of students to this museum on field trips over the past ten years. It is a magical place to explore and play. I recently took my granddaughter who was visiting us from Montana. I highly encourage you to take the tablet away from your child for a day and them to this fantastic museum so they can explore, play, and feel creative.
For the price and the size, this is a tremendous children's museum. For a 4 year old boy, everything was age appropriate. There were certainly things for older and younger children, and anyone could spend around 2-4 hours here easily. From artist zones to outdoor or indoor climbing and playing, there's something for every type of little one. Lots of educational opportunities as well!

This museum has a lot to offer to all age groups of children. Kids can also play in a clean and safe environment. Kroger shopping, the Theatre stage, FedEx plane, and the outdoor play area are the highlights. My kids love using their season passes here. We’ve been going every couple of months this year and there is always hours worth of fun and meaningful activities for my kids to do. Great family-friendly place!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Great children’s museum! Has a wide variety of exhibits and most of the items and in good repair and very functional, unlike some museums we have been to. My kids loved the Kroger shopping area! You can ring up your groceries and print out a receipt to take with you. The carousel is very nice too. Overall, real good experience and would recommend.

First time visiting was great. The kids enjoyed all the activities and we had a fun filled day. Some activities were broker/out of service but other than that the place had more than we had bargained for.
