It is almost impossible to get hold of the admin staff by phone to make an appointment or follow up on other pending items. I wonder if this location is understaffed....Whenever I am at the clinic in person, I see the front desk personnel are constantly on the phone and barely acknowledge your presence. Come on, for a hospital bragging to be ranked in the top 10, you can do better! Please make sure you have enough personnel to answer your phone lines and in person visitors to your clinic. On a positive note, if you manage to get into the clinic in person, the providers are great.
Highly disappointed in their patient portal system current and past which is consistently not working. I can't get basic access to my child's medical records via the portal and the office can't offer me a better option than to drive to pick them up. Wait times to reach the office by phone are extremely long.
The doctors are very nice here, but it is not worth the hassle with front desk staff. Very unprofessional and sassy. On multiple occasions my child’s appointment times were changed and we accommodated, but this energy is very one sided. We were 4 minutes late for a rescheduled appointment they rescheduled and couldn’t be seen. The next appointment was two weeks out. I understand, but at the same time it’s a little unreal.
The doctors/ nurses are great. Can’t complain they are very thorough. But the front desk needs a lot of work. They need more front desk personnel. I’m constantly having to call several times to get the same things done. Some are very harsh and rude. I have even been given wrong info by the front desk personnels. If they can rectify that, then it would definitely be five stars for me.
I honestly hate leaving bad reviews but I felt like I should share just in case other families wanted to know. The doctors are great and no complaints there, but the actual scheduling, appointment times, phone wait times etc is a nightmare. There was about a 4 month span where I wasn’t even sure if the office still existed because the phones didn’t work. When you schedule your appointment, you never get in at the time you schedule, it’s at least 15 min late and then when they put you in the room, it’s another long wait for the actual doctor to come I’ve waited an additional 30+ min at times. Most recently, I called to make my children’s 2 year and 3 yr doctors appointment over the phone. The person on the phone told me I would be charged for the visits and it wouldn’t go through my insurance but then put me on hold and said nevermind, she didn’t realize their age after I gave her their age and birthdates, then I scheduled for both of them. I got to the office for their appointment and she didn’t schedule both kids, only one. If you’re a full-time working mom of two, you know this little mistake can be a big deal. They were unable to fit both in because they were closing early despite it being their mistake. Overall, doctors, nurses and staff are nice but they seem disorganized.
This place has amazing doctors when you are able to actually schedule an appointment. Apparently they are implementing some “new system” that has long wait times and gives them absolutely no appointments what so ever available! And with this new system you will be on hold for about 50 or more minutes and when you finally get through you will find out that you have wasted your time. I called twice a week ago once on Wednesday 11/2 and on Thursday 11/3 I waited both days for over 50 minutes to not be assisted the receptionist said there were no appointments available in person or telemedicine. The receptionist just kept saying to take my child to urgent care to basically wait for hours and to take my child to an even germ-er place. I called again this morning 11/14 for my other child it was 15 callers ahead of me I immediately hung up! The doctors are nice but the front desk staff could use major assistance! My children have been going here for 4 years now but I am thinking it is time to go somewhere else that will actually allow me to be serviced!
Last year I called to schedule an appointment for my childrens physical and was told that due to an overwhelming amount of sick/covid appointments I need to push my childrens physical appointments back. I said, no problem and moved them back. The kids were seen almost 4 months later. NOW a year later, i need to enroll my children is school and ask for a health form to be filled out. They told me that they can’t fill the form out because the physical that I moved to accommodate them expired 7 days ago AND the next physical appointment is in almost 2 months. Pretty insane seeing as how you can only get a physical every 12 months. So now, my kids can’t attend school or after school activities because of this. Pretty absurd and not accommodating. It’s hard enough out here as a parent!
My experience with this facility has been terrible. It was a good place at one point, however now we request a call back and we don't get one. We are told one thing and then something else. My child is still not in the portal. The operations is rude and cuts people off. If you are in the silver spring area. Find a better doctors office
Love the Dr’s and Nurses there but the front desk staff is horrible. So unfriendly and not welcoming or inviting at all. They are the face of your practice/business and it definitely does not give a good impression. Both ladies working the desk need to work on their customer relation skills and not make seem like they are doing someone a favor.
THIS IS THE BEST DOCTORS OFFICE EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I have been bringing my kids here since they were little and they are now 14 and 19 and I love everyone in this office! The front desk customer service is UNMATCHED!!! Shout out to Greer Gavins the best NP that ever did it!!! The care, compassion, connection and committment they show to thier patients is amazing! Love you guys forever! You set the bar for other pediatric offices!
