Always friendly, fast and attentive. Sushi chefs are fantastic, quick and consistent. Pretty basic cocktail line up though they mix them strong. Prices are moderate and manageable. Rarely left here hungry and never disappointed. Located just around the side of the Regal Cinema with tons of parking, making it the perfect dinner a movie option.
This is hands down the best sushi in Washington state. The service is quick and friendly and the fish is so fresh. If you sit at the bar you can watch them make the entire meal for you. It is quite a show and worth watching. I am picky about seafood and this place did not disappoint! I almost did not want to eat the meal because the presentation was so beautiful!!
Great selection of sushi which is our go to when we visit Chinoise. Miso soup is delicious and the salmon and hamachi nigiri are a must! The fried banana with coconut ice cream tops it all off wonderfullyDine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Always happy with my experience here. Food is amazing every time and the staff helpful and engaging! Love sitting at the sushi bar.
Fresh, delicious sushi, with great presentation. Attentive service. A small pleasant outdoor patio is a great place to hang on those occasional sunny days. Reasonably priced and good quality. Recommended
Came from Bellevue, and stopped by here for dinner as I was in the area. We ordered 4 rolls, and every one of them was disappointing in flavor and execution, small in portion size, and overpriced. The 6.5$ California roll had a tiny stick of low quality imitation crab that you can find at any supermarket, and the 13-16$ specialty rolls barely had any filling, and had 5 pieces total!! 2 of which were end pieces and basically was just a mouthful of rice. Not sure if issaquah food is just overpriced, or we didn’t know what to order, but probably won’t be coming back any time soon
I do like the variety they have. A mix of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Ate in with my family, server was friendly but forgot a few things. I got the udon with tempura and it was good. Ordered to go on another day and food was meh. I think August Moon is way better for their Chinese options. Prices were comparable.
So, this restaurant is definitely good. The Cooks and Sushi chef are great. This being said the serving quality has diminished here. When I was served my sushi with my mother for my birthday the server didn't even attempt to set the sushi tray correctly in front of us. The busser brought out the sushi and didn't know which roll went where. The server was decent, but apparently doesn't bring the food out her self. This place has great vegetarian options, and their rolls are extremely good. If you like Tuna, I would suggest trying their Saigon Tuna Roll. It is one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had. This restaurant offers happy hour drink specials, which make it quite a awesome sushi restaurant at the right time. I rarely give restaurants a perfect 5 stars these days, due to the recent decline in experienced servers because of the cost of rent in the Seattle area I give Chinoise 3.8 out of 5 stars. The cleanliness is good.
Wonderful sushi! The salmon was particularly good. It's conveniently adjacent to the Regal Cinema, and we caught a movie afterward. Convenient, free parking for both with free EV charging.
Incredible cuisine at this unassuming local eatery. Having recently traveled Dec 2019 to Vietnam and Thailand, I can say the pho and other dishes rival the best we had from locals. Service was gracious and speedy and everything we had was delicious and very reasonably priced. Also, the portions were incredibly generous. I will be back again with the whole family very soon! I can't believe I hadn't tried this place sooner. The cuisine ranges from Vietnamese to Thai to Korean to - as you might guess from the name - Chinese. I can't wait to try more on the menu!
