Chlothes Mentor

The young lady who helped me was very nice and I was relatively pleased with my takeaway. Some items I didn't think would be accepted somewhat worn tank tops, older sweaters were but some I was confident would be gorgeous like-new dress, never worn sandals, weren't. There were a few items that I know I will get more on the swap sites for so I took those back. I think if you go in knowing there is a rhyme/reason you won't understand with which of your items will be taken and which won't, it's worth the trip.

I came in to sell some clothes that i never even worn. Before I even decide to sell anything I always make sure its worth my time taking the trip and make sure the clothes are in great condition to sell. I went here and the staff came off like they did not want to be working here and then the verdict that some of my items were stain...um really none of my clothes were even worn...So I started going through my items in front of her pulling out a brand new aeropostale hoodie tag still on, no stain, a forever21 plus size sweater dress ..mind you the sign signs..we are in need of : plus sizes, sweaters, coats etc that was a joke, everything I brought into the store was plus size and named brand and unworn. The sweater dress was in great condition the girl behind the counters response..um we don't need sweaters, thats not what your sign says, oh well we dont need sweater dresses. What a liar, then from there I pulled out a never worn tan maxi skirt from oldnavy, not a stain or a wrinkle. Whats wrong with this, her response "its to plain for us, we like patterns and designs" you gotta be kidding me. Moral of the story don't sell to this store or platos closet, they have these staff people that ride around on a high horse all day and that will give you the run around and make up ALL TYPES OF EXCUSES NOT TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES!...if you must sell do it online and cut out the middle man they call Clothes Mentor or Platos Closet.
