Every single day, millions of individuals including women and young children living in the poorest countries of the world die from catastrophic tropical illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and Tuberculosis. Most of the drugs used for the treatment of these deadly diseases have been approved based on clinical research studies conducted among people living in the richest countries of the world.
If we truly desire to completely eradicate HIV/AIDs, Malaria, and Tuberculosis from EARTH, we need to involve underrepresented and poor individuals in clinical research. These people are critically endangered. They need our help.
