The hospital was built in 1956 to serve the local area and since then has grown to serve several surrounding areas. The first hospital was built at 1101 O'Connor Boulevard. In October of 2008, a larger, state of the art hospital with better access and the same exceptional service was built at 720 South 6th Street.
