Received a bad opinion about my sewing machine from this shop. First, was given an attitude because it was bought online and not from this shop. Second, after attempting to test run the embroidery and troubleshoot the machine was told that these machines that are bought online usually have issues and aren’t worth keeping. It was suggested that I return my machine and purchase a new one through this shop. The owner didn’t want to work on my machine because it wasn’t under warranty at her shop. Was also told that my threader was broken and I should get it replaced. I was really upset but didn’t make any quick decisions in the moment. Instead I found another seller in Milford and they happily looked my machine and only charged me a diagnostic fee to fix it. Also, the threader works just fine! I had high hopes for this shop initially but overall terrible customer service and definitely would not come back.
This shop is just adorable in all aspects. Beautiful fabrics, when you walk in it's like walking into a rainbow. The best part is the welcoming atmosphere, whether you are a "regular" or someone brand new, you are welcomed with open arms,. Inspiration for new projects fills the walls with beautiful samples hanging up, patterns, precuts, and a store filled with everything you need.
Lots and lots of bright fabrics. Unfortunately, I was shopping for more traditional colors and styles today. Someone who wants to make baby quilt will be in heaven. Lots of ideas, kits, and not too tough on the wallet.
Christie is so helpful! Her knowledge and sewing tips are great. Her selection of fabric is amazing and makes you look for hours! Great shop! Please visit!
I am visiting from Florida and found Christie's via GOOGLE. The owner is a hoot. She is full of positive energy and she has filled her store with bright , fun fabrics. She participates in the annual row by row and told me her store has lots of classes and has designers visit frequently . I HIGHLY recommend this store if you are,drawn to bright fabrics.
Beware! Kids masks are massive. I only bought one because I wanted to try before stocking up, smart decision. She's 4.5 and the "kids" size is over her eyes. The lady working was so, so rude throughout our whole visit, even swore in front of my daughter and response to mask size was "she'll grow into it." Take your business somewhere else!
Do not trust your Bernina with Christie. She does not service with a Bernina certified technician. I brought my machine to be serviced by Christie. Upon receipt of machine I found accessories missing. I called and discovered that because my machine was not under warranty it was not serviced correctly. If you own a Bernina you know how important the inner workings are. A normal machine technician does not do what is necessary to keep your Bernina machine properly functioning. When I called to see if she could locate my missing accessories Christie was rude. She said that I made up the missing parts. She also said that I was being unreasonable expecting her as a dealer to service my machine correctly. She also said that I did not deserve any compensation. I am more than livid about the situation. I now have to locate the missing accessories and purchase new ones; I also have to bring the machine to get reserviced by a true technician. In total I have lost $90 for the service and another $100 for the missing accessories.
Lovely Quilt Shop with the owner providing personal customer service. Shop has lots of wonderful fabrics, quilt kits, provides quilting longarm services and notions for your quilting needs. A must see shop located in Norwalk, CT.

Incredible! The owner Christie is very knowledgeable in many aspects. She fully helped me when i have no clue what to do.. Very good service and great prices
