CM told me "No housing advocacy allowed" I don't understand why a case manager isn't allowed to call a landlord & say, "I have a client who has income. Not 3x or 4x the income per rent. But she can pay the rent, if you could just give her chance. So she doesn't end up homeless." It's extremely discouraging.

Chrysalis Center is definitely the premier place for people looking to get back on their feet. Their facility is absolutely amazing, spacious, clean, and the services they provide are very helpful. Their Fresh Food Market is truly fresh food, and could easily out do establishments like whole foods in quality. Their kitchen for culinary arts is wonderful, not to mention the art gallery and a plethora of other amenities to help those in need. I would truly recommend this place to anyone willing to spend time in improving their circumstances.

The Rec Team do an amazing job working with a diverse group of people. The chef is second to none! However he is over worked and under paid. Some of the meanest people hold jobs, that affect the lives of homeless people. Chrysalis is definitely a good show

**This review is for the "Training & Conference Center" TCC, a full-service event venue on the Chrysalis Center campus.** I am the event coordinator for a non-profit based out of town, and my experience with the Training & Conference Center could not have been better. The lobby and main space are beautiful, with the main room being able to divide up into three smaller rooms - the perfect learning environment for our group of ~150 students. There's a back hallway for storage which made setup and transitions go smoothly. The large lobbies two! allowed us to spread out for activities and collaborative work time. There's also a lovely covered back porch with picnic tables and fans, which our guests enjoyed during meals and breaks. TCC works with an in-house catering and culinary arts training program, La Cocina, which provided us with six excellent meals including an outdoor grill-out celebration with a customized menu. One of the best parts of TCC is the events team. Jeffrey was wonderful to work with in advance of the event, and the full-day of team was incredible. Anything we needed felt like it was resolved in an instant with this talented team; they embodied radical hospitality and never made us feel that we were a bother with last-minute changes and requests. From the staff to the catering, to the A/V to the huge parking lot ! - our event was a huge success and we would definitely host at TCC again.

Chrysalis Center is an amazing organization, with experienced management that consistently provides support to clients in need. Throughout the many programs offered, Chrysalis continues to change the lives of those they serve. A big thank you to the staff and management at Chrysalis!

The Chrysalis Center has assigned eight different case workers to my case in a three year period. After I signed the intro package, and annual leasing package are done. They represent themselves as an aggressive authoritarian that dictate towards those they serve. In other words I've compromised my sanity in order to have housing support.

I believe in the mission and the work that the Chrysalis Center is doing for the Hartford area. Our company recently held a meeting at their TCC Training & Conference Center. The service and food was fantastic!

If you call here to learn about their resources and programs, don't bother leaving a message if no one answers. I've been calling for over a week to inquire about the security guard training. Jennifer, I think her name is, must don't check her voicemail or simply don't want to be bothered. If I could give 0 stars I would.

.........I did not finish my review......as I was saying, John has a great personality and is wonderful with the guests, volunteers, contributors and staff. Avery special place indeed!

Good things are happening at Chrysalis center. I attended the seasonal Farmers market there. Also there's a herbs and vegetable garden there too.
