My wife and I took some sandwiches and had a wonderful night listening to the Bruno Mars and the Hooligans cover band. It was a beautiful night all the people were well behaved and nice and a good time was had by all
This is an awesome park. It’s just for me away enough from the freeway where you don’t hear much of that. It’s a very large park at one and there’s a softball field. There is a children’s play area in the middle. Their boys and girl bathrooms. There are two picnic areas. One is big wrong with the main picnic area. When I like the most about it is there’s lots of trees he can walk around the outside in the tree line in the shade. Or you walk for the middle of the park where it’s sunny. Very grassy in large. I would say as big as maybe two football fields. Lots of dogs, lots of children, lots of people… It’s a beautiful place on a sunny day. In the background you can see the Lenny face mountain. And on the other side there is the Agoura high school. And along the outer edge or a bunch of small single family homes. And it looks like they’re mostly small families that live in them. You can often with your dog run around off leash if your dog is obedient. And of course you can pick up that your dogs mess. One of the best parks in the area.
One of the most beautiful parks I have been to. The park has a variety of full grown trees, including hundred year old plus oak trees. The park is well maintained and has large grass areas for numerous simultaneous soccer games etc. It also has a large softball diamond with backstop and protective screen dugouts for both teams. It also has a playground with jungle gym and swings for young children. Bathrooms, drinking fountain, and about 1/2 a dozen large picnic tables. No bbqs. I don't know if you are allowed to bring your own bbq. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountain areas. Dogs on leashes is enforced with fines. Level terrain and surrounding sidewalks are easy to walk. Only the sidewalks are lit by street light posts. Park patrolled at night by sheriffs. Only street parking available. Neighborhood watch active with numerous security cameras reviewed by sheriffs on request.
the toilets here never seem to be open. we went to a gig for a bruno mars cover band- they were very good, and a 4th of july laser show which, although extremely patriotic, left some to be desired in regards to lasers.
A place for everyone. Grass for a picnic or dog walk or game of catch. Flat sidewalk encircling the park for a morning or evening stroll. This is one of the best parks in the Conejo Valley. Summer concerts on Sunday evenings used to be a weekly activity prior to the lock downs. We're all looking forward to the day when picnic-in-a-park with rock and roll come back again!
I really loved coming to this park. I would walk my dog. Saw other people walking their dogs, and the dogs were not leashed so I did the same. Today I got a ticket for $100 from the animal control department. I asked for a warning but she said no! There are many people who walk their dogs off the leash at this park. Too many people come to the park, and don't wear masks. Saturday, I would say is the most crowded.. what is the consequence of not wearing a mask? I think it ought to be a thousand dollar fine... I always wear a mask and face shield combined.
This park is nice in the day but as soon as the sun starts to go down, it starts to attract the wrong kind of people. Either sketchy homeless people or violent and drug addicted teenagers that will start fights in the middle of the park even in broad daylight. This is manly because of a spot called “G city” which is a graffiti rittled underside of a bridge where people do drugs, and they need to pass through the park in order to get to it.
Nice playground that doubles as a workout station pullups, dips, pushups, box jumps. Picnic tables, and lots of grass for playing. Nice views of the mountains, too.
We have been enjoying the concerts in the park here this summer. Great bands and great location.
Had fun. Large park. Its great to see friends. We are all finally vaccinated! The only benefit of old age.
