Normally, there is not an issue. Went during off peak hours, service was decent, food was over cooked and told they were "struggling and short on oil". The poppers were good as usual. The coleslaw was dry and not much flavor. Several customers came in that were originally I'm drive-thru as their orders were wrong. The cashier didn't seem to concerned about the errors. The DM did okay in handling the situation but could really use some training in soft skills.
Usually get really good food from this location. Not today though, chicken was old and dry, Mac and cheese was burned and stuck together in clumps and didn't even get biscuits with the family meal. $70 down the drain. Won't go back for sure.
Ordered a 16 piece meal with 3 sides and waited a very long time for my order... Understandable with the amount of people ordering. When I received my order I took it home to sit down for a dinner with my family but to my dismay, I had only recieved half my order. I got 8 pieces of chicken when I ordered 16. I tried calling the restaurant but none of my phone calls was answered. After a few minutes of debating with my family about the order I decided to go back to the restaurant which is about 10 miles from my home and tried to ask for the rest of my order. After talking with one of the employees I was told that my intentions were to get a free meal... At which point I decided to just ask for my money back.i did not like being told that I was trying to cheat a huge corporation out of a few measley pieces of mediocre chicken at best. The employees who sold my the order were very rude and so was the shift manager. After a bit the manager apologized and said she would refund me my money if I came back the next day. I went back to get my refund the following day and was told that I could not get my money back. The Church's location in Bernalillo is notorious for getting take out orders wrong on a constant basis and the employees are very rude. I would think that the shift manager would present herself with a bit more decorum but her attitude was just as bad as her employees. So whoever reads this review please be cautious of this location and if you have a choice between Bernalillo location or Albuquerque go with any of the latter locations... Better yet go with Popeyes or even better go with Golden Pride chicken.
I've had better chicken at Albertsons, it's a shame to say that from a chicken franchise, I will never come back.Food: 1/5
Got drive through tonight and they were busting their tails to render great service while busy, and very polite. Unfortunately, they missed the strips with our family meal, but had included an extra piece of dark meat. I called, and a very nice lady answered promptly. Explained the issue and she immediately offered more than a simple correction. I declined any extras and my son picked up the strips, which still had extra pieces, despite not wanting anything extra. It's hard to deal with errors, and they handled it with empathy, generosity, and grace. Bravo! Thanks for shining in the face of difficulty. To me, such care is worth five stars, as it's much harder to handle an error well than not. Also, the food was excellent, well worth the wait and return trip. Will definitely continue to be a customer.
The guy who took our order was friendly, helpful, and doing a great job. The chicken was a little dry for me, but my husband liked it a lot. Sides were good. Fast and friendly.Food: 3/5
Chicken tenders were extremely dry and cold and had no flavor. Service was friendly, but they didn't give us our correct order, and we had to go in and fix it.Food: 1/5

Waited 20 plus min on the drive thru. When it was my turn to order, they just made me wait some more.. so I went to kfc instead. When i did get food here. The chicken is greasy af , the mash has way too much garlic flavor and buiscuts were stail and so were the cheese bombers.
When I ate there it was nice and quiet food fresh and hot the tables were clean a great mealFood: 4/5
