First, the good. You can order online. Their main dishes are fine for Chinese takeout. Used to not have anything bad to say about this place. Unfortunately, not anymore. I've read an ownership change happened... Now, the bad. Canned fried rice . Yellow sticky gross. I ordered online because unlike to make sure there is no miscommunication bc I needed to mushrooms bc of allergies, and I can write it in the order online. Brought the food home to my mushroom allergic mother. Full of mushrooms. Brought it back to the store with the receipt that specified no mushrooms the next time I was in town so they knew I wasnt trying to scheme them bc I've now read the recent reviews. Lady at the counter was very nice. While I would have preferred a refund, she offered to remake it immediately. Then I hear an ensuing argument in the kitchen, and one or two men yelling at this woman. Shortly thereafter, a man entered the lobby from the kitchen and very loudly started yelling at me about I didn't say no mushrooms...so I pointed it out. Then more arguing in the back. I literally had a first response to feel like I was a kid in elementary school being yelled at for misbehaving! And I DIDN'T MAKE THE MISTAKE-HE DID! I even ordered a side item out of generosity just to help it seem like they were still going to profit from the mistake they made. The counter lady says "next time, call only to say the order is wrong". Ok, that's fine. I don't think I'll be having that problem again, since I won't be ordering from here for a while. Honestly, idk if I should even eat the replacement....the dude was so hot headed, sorta worried he might have added something "extra" to my food...but I dont know... Sorry nice lady, your boss/partner needs to meditate before he runs all your customers off for good being so mean!
We use to get food here once a week but they started over spicing everything that had spice in it! Curry shrimp, hot and sour soup etc. It is soo spicy you can't even eat it! I use to love this place but now we go to Poplarville every week.Food: 2/5
Food is OK. It's not as good as it used to be. The service isn't the friendliest, which used to be fine because the quality of food made up for it. Now, convenience is the only reason we order from there.Recommended dishesEgg Roll
Order for delivery and carryout all the time. Dining in was never an option for me because it is very small and not cold enough inside for me. But the food is wonderful. One of my family's favorite Chinese restaurants for delivery or carryout. Vegetarian options: Offers vegetarian options.
good tasting food. fried rice tastes like it is grilled. really good. chicken sticks, honey chicken, sesame chicken, pepper steak are very good.Food: 5/5
Friendly employees that prepare your meal fresh when ordered... I've not had a meal there yet that was portioned from previously cooked and kept warm vat or tray of food. No reheated food either! Always a pleasureable experience.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would; I ordered and It took a while to get my food. Once I got my food the rice was hard and the chicken was still bleeding inside. I told him that I did not want the food and I was not pleased. I paid 12.50 for it. He started yelling in his native language and threw 8 dollars on the table saying that was all I was getting back. Poor customer service and food hygiene here.
Waitress was not so good. Left many dirty plates. She wasn't around much.Food: 4/5
Was driving all day Tennessee to Houston and needed food, so I got off the freeway to find the Subway promised on the sign. They were closed. However, Ciao King was next door and open. I asked how long to make broccoli and chicken, and they said 3m. A few minutes later, I left with a large tray of fresh hot food, which ended up being far more delicious than I expected from a random-selected cheap chinese food place. It was restaurant quality instead of take-out quality. I guess I got lucky!
Very good food and always fresh because they don't start cooking until you order it. Best Chinese aroundFood: 5/5
