Very average theater experience-- the movies themselves are good. Lots of spacious seating with recliners and leg room, cool temperatures, and good audio/visual quality. This theater is definitely showing its age and need for consistent staffing. The materials, floors, everything are just starting to feel... old. With a layer of light stickiness to everything. On a weekday summer afternoon, there was only a handful of staff there to take care of a crowd of customers. Many empty concession shelves and sections with wait times for any hot food aside from nachos. Nothing made me shriek aside from horror/thriller films! but I hope management is able to foster good relations with staff so consistent care is given to the facilities. I will say that the "theme" of the whole theater is... weird? It makes my friends and I laugh every time we're there and is a good talking point I guess!
This theatre needs better maintenance. It is nasty with a foul odor in the air. The bathroom should be the first place they begin to clean because it is beyond DISGUSTING. Not sure if the sticky feel in the ground was dried up urine or spilled drink.
This review is for the movies on a Monday in the summer at 11:00 a.m. we watched the movie Blue beetle which came out 3 days ago. Today was slotted to be 95° so we decided to go to the movies in the morning. We had the entire theater to ourselves. You can choose your seat pre-purchased. We purchased our tickets at the kiosk right outside the theater. Very easy. No upcharge for using credit. The concession stand was opened with the majority of items available including popcorn, hot dog, nachos and cheese, pretzels, drinks and slurpees, and single service snacks. For one adult and two children, it cost me $30. And then $20 at the concession stand for a small popcorn and two medium slurpees. Are seats electronically reclined and there was no one that could kick our seats behind us. There were trays that swiveled to make it easier to get in and out of seats. If I wasn't so frugal, I definitely come back more frequently. But this was definitely a good experience for me and my two 10-year-olds.
I was in town and decided to see George Foreman’s movie! Parking wasn’t troublesome. The popcorn was hot and fresh! The seating was functional but could use some reupholstering. The movie was enjoyable and I had the perfect movie companions so nothing else really mattered! Thanks
My first visit to a movie theater in about 8 years. I went to a daytime showing and I had a great time. The theater was clean. The staff was friendly. The seats were comfortable. I really enjoyed myself.
The movie I saw was phenomenal! The folks in the food service area made me a fresh pepperoni pizza and it was clean. However, the bathrooms were extremely disgusting and in need of some serious repair. To top it all off I had to disinfect my own seat and I could tell it has just not been kept up like it should be. I understand a lot of people come in and out all day long. But that's no excuse. Also, I was extremely not happy to see the advertisements opening up with the State of Maryland and the legalization of marijuana. I was in a rated R movie. But I hope that they are not having that played during children and family movies. The advertisements were way too long and not what it typically is. Just wasn't the same. And I LOVE coming to the theaters for movies! This was not okay.
I had high hopes for this theater based on the images and review score. I was sadly disappointed. Upon arriving, we were greeted to a long concession stand line, practically to the door, no biggie since everyone is having trouble retaining staff. My major complaints are the smells in the hallway--it smells like a literal porta potty while looking for your theater...The door to open the theater was sticky, all over, as if it hadn't been wiped down all week. Utter lack of cleanliness. And concessions! 2 orders of wings we purchased for $17. After I ate my wings in the theater, I seen that the wings were prepared at 5:38pm, and scheduled to be discarded around 6:30pm. The movie was at 7:15pm and the wings were still served to me at 7:05pm. If they were scheduled to be discarded, they shouldn't have been served. The wings were small, crusty, dry not the buffalo wings they advertise on their site, and I believe 6 pieces smaller than the size of my thumb. For our health & safety, we won't be able to return until those restrooms are deep-cleaned and the hallways smell like Pine Sol or some other cleaning product. The second star was for how quickly it took them to resolve my issue and offer a refund.
Great movie theater! They have reclining seats, the regular concessions, it’s very spacious, and getting tickets was easy. There are a lot of showings. Long previews like most movie theaters, but that’s part of the experience. It’s in a nice location connected to the mall. Parking was very easy.
I used to enjoy coming here, but now the theatre seems like it is not taken care of or cleaned up.... The women's bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Women and children should not have to pass all the bathrooms because they are unsuitable to use. Simply put, they are the worst I have seen regarding public facilities. The toilet paper is too thin and breaks before you can use it, so 75% of it ends up on the floor and never gets cleaned up. I heard customers mention they will "hold it" or "go inside the mall where it's cleaner." That is unacceptable. Bathrooms should be cleaned and sanitized regularly. Butter, soda, and melted icee are all over the counters near the concession stand, so you end up with a gross popcorn container bottom. There are flies and nats within the bathroom and the movie theater, which is nasty, and makes me feel really unclean. Unfortunately, I have witnessed staff with brooms outside of the theaters standing around, but it seems the bathrooms and public spaces are still not cleaned appropriately. Sure, you have reclining seats, but I will choose to visit a theater that takes pride in their facility and ensures the health and safety of their customers by cleaning concession, bathroom, and theaters.
Their food is pretty good, the screens are beautiful and some of their seats move cost extra. The staff seems pretty friendly and the $9.99 cinemark movie club is very much worth the price because we always get a discount on food and tickets. It's also great there are so many stores in the mall we can go to after the movie is over if we wanted something.
