We really enjoy this theater. They typically have plenty of showtimes for this newest movies, and they participate in all of Cinemark's amazing promotions. The theater itself is always clean, and the prices feel very reasonable in comparison to other locations. The Cinemark Rewards program is the best awards program I've ever been a member of. For $10/month less if you pay annually, you get a free ticket each month bankable if you don't use them and you can use multiple at a time and you get 20% off concessions in addition to the points for each dollar you spend. Once a month, we attend a matinee, pay for one ticket receive 2, get a large popcorn, 2 candies, and a water - all for under $30. Parking at the theater is also generally available, and it's rarely overly crowded despite being the only theater in the 30,000 person City of Monterey.

Nice and clean theater! The food can get you through until your next meal...it's that good! And the seats are comfy enough to bring your pajamas, and resemble home! But, seriously....a great place to take the family for a reasonable amount for a weekend outing. Clean sound system and picture quality was great! We sat in the 10th row up...and theater 13...and it's was beautiful!

A nice theater to stop off for a good, fun movie. Seating feels a bit old and a slight bit uncomfortable, but not horrific by any means. Felt oddly empty though, but that could have been since it was a flashback movie and not many seem to enjoy good old flicks.

Yeah it's not bad. The seats are big and generally clean. Not usually too crowded, even on a Friday night. Sound and screens are adequate, nothing fancy but not run down or broken. A good normal movie theater.

Wow, they seriously missed there mark with the Barbie movie. Just one tiny poster?! I wanted the experience with the matel Barbie box for photos dang it. Or how about some fun pink drink? Anyway, the staff are also basically no help and they burnt the popcorn!

Nice theater to enjoy a movie my wife and I watch John Wick 4..good service and very clean.

Well I forgot to write a review when the super Mario movie came out , this is probably the second time I have ever been to this theater since the hobbit. I went to go watch the super Mario movie, with family members on April 18th, 2023. It was nice cause it was empty around 1pm on a tuesday, I make a bee line to the concession stand. I asked this Asian guy, sorry forgot his name about 5’10 thick lookin, I asked the guy politely what I wanted he responded rudely like it’s over there! And you can help yourself! and kept rolling his eyes at me. I said thank you and lucky I was in a good mood, I got my drink and I turned around to ask for popcorn but he left and another other gentleman came from the doors and I repeated my order and he helped us out. I kept thinking what is that dudes issue since it’s so empty and there’s hardly any customers in the theater. After that encounter and reading other people’s reviews it’s making sense , I’ll stick to marina, salinas, San Jose theaters. Monterey is a nice theater, just a word of advice keeping responding to people like that you won’t have business for long.

I've been spoiled with my local cinemark in that the seats recline and ate heated if needed. This theater in Monterey doesn't have seats like that and the restrooms are really far from some of the screenings. It's not bad, but could be more comfort accommodating.

Typical movie theater. It was clean and plenty of seating in the theater. It can get crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings. There are a few places to eat near by and shopping so if you have to wait a bit for a movie time there are other activities near by to fill your time.

Quite unfortunate that we're having to pay an extra $1.75 each ticket to book a ticket online for times when there's not even 20% of the seats taken. Sure we have preferred seats, but if they're taken, no problem. In addition, often we meet friends for movies and a dinner. Several couples may trickle in at different times. How do we all sit together? We're done with Cinemark and any of the other theaters pulling the same thing. A 75 inch TV sure makes a difference in weighing whether to meet for a movie and dinner, or just dinner... or maybe not even go into town. These are the times of diminishing options or profit algorithms run amuck. Received a response...I guess. They want me to share "more", probably some AI canned response that responds but doesn't say anything. I'm not sure that my comment was even comprehended. I presented a problem friends trickling in at different times & sitting together and it's not even addressed. So, I'm taking one more star away for a non-sensical response.
