Nice hotel, lots of activities like circus shows, arcade, etc. for kids. They have 2 different building and there is a long walk to get to the other building. The elevator were not working so we had to drag our bags on the stairs, which was an inconvenience. More so for the people who needed wheelchair accessibility as their lift was out of order too! Other than that it was overall a nice experience.
We went to the national bowling stadium and stayed here. It was a very good location - walking distance about 10 minutes. Registration was fast if you're a platinum member and elevators right outside of north Tower. High room was nice and when we were there, they had the hot air balloons in the am. Pretty view. Food court was very easy to get to and offered good choices. Good for family.
Circus Circus was enjoyable. The children area was most accommodating with games and arcade wisdom. We ended up looking around and decided to get a member's card. The kiosk for signing up was great but I still had to go to Guest Service to receive the card. I noticed that most of the employees I encountered had that "what do you need" attitude which was a bit of an downer. But I am sure being around the kids area all the time with the sounds may be a much. The food court was excellent. You can distressed and plan your next action while you grab something to eat. In all I highly recommend Circus Circus for the children.
Great stay. Just passing through and had a comfortable night's sleep. Rooms were excellent, comfy and well up to date. Bathroom was great, and the bath/shower were great. Just a great stay overall. Really nothing to complain about. Better signs for entry/parking would be nice but they're adequate and at most you have to go round the block again. Would happily stay here again. Noise free and very comfy. Rooms: Comfy rooms. Cushy beds and excellent quality all round. Safety: Hotel felt safe. Even saw a security guy do a cycle round of the parking garage. Noteworthy details: Fun circus theme. Good food court.
We were put in the Sky tower even though we requested the main hotel due to disability issues. The walk and inconvenience were dreadful. The little service lift did not work and we were forced to maneuver 2 staircases with no help with our luggage. Sometimes there was a 15-20 minute wait for an elevator to our room. The room itself was very comfortable except for the air conditioning unit. It was very noisy and sounded like a semi was idling in the room all night making it very hard to sleep. Housekeeping was great. The biggest issue was we went 2 days with NO HOT WATER. Several floors in the Sky Tower had no hot water and the hotel didn't seem to care. This was absolutely inexcusable. Many people were affected by this and were also upset. When letting the hotel know of our situation they only issued a refund for the "resort fee". What a joke especially when the rooms were overpriced anyway. We were charged over $775 for a 3 day stay. Normally these rooms are only $40-50 regularly. This was the worst hotel stay we ever had anywhere.
I'm not sure what my expectations for a room on the row were, but they definitely were nor exceeded. I was happier in the little mom and pop hotel where I stayed the night before. It was cozier. That says more about me than the room. The room was big: bigger than some of the apartments I have lived in. Bigger than what I needed, which is ok. There was also a structural column between the bed area and the rest of the room that was not bad but was a little weird. The furnishings were in good condition. The sliding closet doors were off their tracks. I did not need the closet but I fixed them anyway. Do you think I might be an engineer? The AC control was a little odd: 70 degrees was freezing; 71 degrees was too warm. No microwave. The resort fee is charged when you check in, which makes the room look cheaper on line than it really is. Basically it is for features I did not use and felt like $85 for a cup of coffee I had to make myself. It was Starbucks, which is darker than I like, and was not replenished for the second day. It seemed like there were a lot of inoperable escalators and elevators on the site. At one point there were only 2 elevators running for the sky tower. Neither were stopping for traffic going down. I pushed the up button to get one to stop on my floor and rode up then down, When I got to floor 2 and got out, there was a line of people trying to go up to their rooms. It was about 100 feet long. Not an exaggeration. From the check in desk to the sky tower elevators was 2 city blocks again, not an exaggeration and was not ADA compliant, if you need that: there are steps from one level to another. There was a lift between levels at one point but it was out of order. This was ok for me because my knees are good and walking is my exercise of choice.
The front desk at Circus was terrific and amiable ladies. Slot machines at Silver Legacy were not a great experience at all. I played with my husband, and no one offered a drink. Please press the button to get service, and the manager cleared the machine with her card and said someone was going to be back waiting and nothing. The manager did not seem busy. I left and went to Atlantis instead. Had the best experience in the whole hotel with Yogurt Beach only place where they greet customer with a smile. Such a sweet young lady was here Wednesday morning. Very helpful and sweeter than the ice cream Food & drinks: Pricey food was not impressive except for the yogur ice cream t yogurt beach
Haven't been here in over thirty years from what I remember... And this spot is still as fun as ever! They've got both arcades and carnival style games here, which reignites the nostalgia, and the attendants are so fun! Every so often sorry I don't know the frequency there's a circus act near the middle of the arena. I'm glad the kids had more fun than us adults
We stayed two nights. We upgraded to a larger room. The price was perfect. We enjoyed the dining in the casino the kids played the arcade and golf. The Circus Circus is better quality than the other. I think we even won a little money!Rooms: 5/5
