I thought to support a local nursery rather than the big box store. Big mistake. I purchased $1,200 worth of plants sight unseen based on trusting her word that the 15 gal shrubs are in excellent condition. Carl the owner was responsive to my text and calls up until she collected the funds. She delivered them on Friday7/21 at 7pm. Upon removing them from her van to my curb, I noticed the tops of all 9 plants are drooping except for one, and welting to the side in a strange way. Also, I noticed creeping insects on the soil top of the containers. I should have refused delivery right then. Unfortunately, I Did not. I thought it just from being crushed inside her closed van , and with watering they will be fine. The Nine 15 gallons were professionally installed the next day Saturday morning. Watered Saturday, and Sunday. Monday morning an individual bubbler was installed by professional irrigation company that placed a bubbler head on each one of the 9 shrubs. And watered again, however, the drooping did not improve and plants all leaning to side and the creeping insects going up and down the stems.. I texted Carol the owner and called her right away for solutions, guidance to as why the plants is this way. I sent her pictures, I texted her numerous time all day Monday and even called her and asked here to ask her supplier for a solution. Carol action was complete avoidance and did NOT respond to any of my calls or text We are talking about less than 72 hours here since she dropped them off. NO customer service or support whatsoever. No respect to customers hard earned money. Between the cost of the plants and cost of installing, and cost of irrigation modification I spent $3500. She delivered the plants knowing something is wrong with them and refused to even give me support or guidance. At least tell the customer what insecticidal to spray for Carl’s insect infested shrubs. I did not ask her to return the plants. I simply asked her to call her supplier and inquire what can I do since his problem is passed unto me. Still no response.from the owner. Now, I am calling around reputable nursery professionals to help me find out how to save $3500 worth of investment. So sad that someone in my keystone area with do this. I do not recommend citrus park nursery. Save your money and yourself of a lot of suffering.
I explored a little garden center not too far away from my home called Citrus Park Landscape Nursery. It's a locally-owned business that has many assortments of plants, bushes vines, and trees. The plant selections range from indoor and outdoor tropical and domestic plants. There is also a selection of flowering plants and bushes as well. You can purchase firewood here too. The prices were outstanding!!! I was able to buy 5 plants one plant which was on my bucket list... the philodendron congo rojo for under $90!!!!!! You can have items delivered to your home if needed tropical trees are available, BIG ONES!!. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this little plant farm. I have lived in the Carrollwood area for 3 years, and I just stumbled upon this Nursery. I love plants and making plant projects and posting about them. The grounds are beautiful there were butterflies and chickens running free everywhere!! You are allowed to go through the rows of plants and pick your plants . This experience was so nostalgic for me because I also went veggie and fruit picking with my family at the local farms in MA growing up. I had a great time here. Due to the quality, prices, and selection available here definitely give this establishment a 5/5 for gems scorecard of Tampa!!!
Very friendly. Well maintained and organized. Quality and quanity. Great carts to wheel plants with ease. Nice selection of plants AND they are reasonably priced!!! Root system on the trees looks great, we'll established. If you're looking for something special, there are some exotic gems you don't see every day. All around, I will definitely recommend and return!
Purchased a bunch of flowers from here and they are currently thriving. Prices were good and the selection was also decent. I saw at least 6 different species of butterflies during my visit and noticed their selection of plants that attracted them was good. They also offer a bunch of other plants like fruit trees, shrubs, and succulents. Forgive my ignorance, I’m still learning about all of this stuff!
Went to snag some milkweed and was super impressed with everything!
I was very pleased with the help from the lady that worked there. I was able to show her a picture of what I was looking for and she knew what it was and they had them. I will definitely go back for more plants from here
Great selection of plants, the owners are always helpful and answer my questions kindly. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of plant is even better. Everything I've got from here is thriving! Azaleas, Begonia, Hibiscus, crotons, and much more.

Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. They always have what we need.
There are Pentas, then there are Citrus Park Nursery Pentas. Two years later and all of the Pentas I got from here are still thriving, full, and beautiful, even in this cold weather! Visiting there is like visiting family. They are so helpful, friendly, and always seem to have what im looking for. Plus they have pesticide free plants so I don’t have to worry about my caterpillars getting sick. Love this nursery
