Citrus Surgery Center

Doctor sent incorrect perscription for pain meds for after surgery. Would not answer phone after 4 attempts the day before to correct prescription the receptionist kept sending to nurses line which was a voice mail they were not closed. The calls were made beginning at 1pm on Thursday during normal business hours. Got to clinic at 8 as required and were told the were running 3 hours behind. Still didnt call in presecription since they said we needed to speak to a nurse. Unorganized and completely unprofessional group with little or no concern for patients. Run like a medical assembly line. If you value your time or expect professional service then this is not the place for you.

Would avoid using this place I’ve been there for two different surgeries and first time they billed the wrong code and I overpaid now I’m waiting on my money back. Second time they had me come in for the operation at 5:20am no one showed up till 5:45am so I was standing outside waiting. They also messed up the billing coding this time to and told me it was $500 and Friday they call and say we did it wrong it’s gonna be $1000 on Monday. Not impressed my surgeon was great but he also works out of a hospital. I would not use this location if you have any other option.

Went to this facility for cataract surgery. Everything from beginning to end was handled professionally. I appreciated that each step during this procedure was explained to me by very confident caring staff. Highly recommend and we are fortunate to have this facility in our community.

I love their passion for others aka clients. Have questions no question will go unanswered, Drs are on board to come check up on their patients before they leave and make clear directed info on any surgery you have or had .

i have had three going on my fourth surgery Monday .Everyone has been great from beginning to end. i was afraid of the blocks for my feet and they made me feel safe and i will have another block on shoulder . i have confidence with the staff. thanks

I don't usually write reviews but for someone who is very hard to please I would highly recommend this place. The whole staff was very professional and made me feel at ease. They respected my wishes about not being put to sleep so they gave me a block. Well here I am 5 days later and parts of my leg are still numb. And they called me the next day to check on me. Awesome people all the way around.

Have to give it a 1 star because they won't let you go lower got here for a 12.00 appt it's now 2.15 and still waiting haven't ate or drank anything since 10 pm last night ask what going on was told nothing but we will get to you soon

A very positive experience despite my negative attitude when I arrived. Everyone was super and treated me great from reception/pre-op to post-op.. It was very positive all around. I will deffinitely use them again. Thanks again to everyone.

COMPLETED PRE-SURGERY INFORMATION PACKET IN PATIENT PORTAL 10 DAYS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED SURGERY DATE. 2 DAYS BEFORE SURGERY I AM TOLD THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE FACILITY REFUSED TO ALLOW SURGERY DUE TO A LATEX SENSITIVITY. I EXPLAINED IT IS A SENSITIVITY, SURGEON WAS COMFORTABLE DOING PROCEDURE AS WAS THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND THE REST OF THE SURGICAL TEAM. ADMINISTRATOR CANCELLED SURGERY. I NOW HAVE AN ADDITIONAL $400 OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE AS SURGERY NOW HAS TO BE DONE AT HOSPITAL. SO, $400 MORE OUT OF POCKET, IN CONSTANT PAIN FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 WEEKS. UNABLE TO WORK DUE TO INJURY, NO WORK NO INCOME. TOTAL PU**Y MOVE BY ADMINISTRATOR. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY BASED ON FACT THAT ADMINISTRATOR WENT OVER HEADS OF SURGEON AND ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND THE REST OF THE SURGICAL TEAM. SERIOUSLY 2 DAYS BEFORE A PROCEDURE THAT WAS SCHEDULED 2 WEEKS PRIOR AND PAPER WORK COMPLETED 10 DAYS PRIOR I GET A CALL.....SCREENING FOR ALLERGIES SHOULD BE A PRIORITY SINCE FACILITY IS NOT LATEX FREE!

The staff were terrific, in and without problems .
