Atmosphere: 1/1: moderate sized yet homey. Service: 1/1: very nice and welcoming staff Price: 1/1: spent $24 on breakfast for 2 and a coffee Food: 2/2: Delicious croissants! Their cinnamon roll was warm and super tasty! My breakfast sandwich with chorizo was a little heavy on the stomach, but taste wise went above my expectations. Their coffee was also top tier. Overall: 5/5: If you’re in Asheville and not cooking your own breakfast, definitely come here for a quick delicious morning bite!
The BEST cheddar chive biscuits. Buy enough for your daily breakfast for the week. I cut in half and reheat in microwave for 30 seconds then layer with a thin slice of Boars Head cheddar cheese, 3 slices of crispy bacon or your fave breakfast meat, 1 scrambled egg, amd another thin slice of Boars Head cheddar and serve with fresh fruit! You'll thank me later
Warm feeling as you enter this quaint storefront. This place is pretty cool but a little over priced. Smells really good outside and in fresh bread baking. I had the Shot in the Dark which is a coffee with a shot of espresso. That was really good. Thanks for the breakfastRecommended dishesFarmhouse
what a wonderful little cafe "City Bakery" is !! the super friendly staff doles out fresh made deliciously creative breakfast and lunch items as well as a variety of coffee options in a bustling yet calm environment. I absolutely recommend their Farmhouse breakfast sandwich, I was hesitant of the apple butter honey-mustard but the young lady who took my order persuaded me to try it and she was right, as breakfast was perfect. Parking: parking lot to the left of the building Wheelchair accessibility: no restrictions that I noticed.
Was there recently for a tennis tournament. Had several cappuccinos and lunch there. Each time was greeted with warmth. The food very clean and tasty. I would def go back there for some bread too !!Food: 5/5
I have eaten many of their sandwiches and pastries and they have all been delicious. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Also, if you’re in a hurry, online ordering works very well.Food: 5/5
My coworker and I usually get a sandwich and split it….we had to get another lunch. Look how small this is! And so tiny. $10 for the smallest sandwich in the world.
Wonderful Asheville bakery. I got the cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich on a cheddar biscuit. The food is great and the seating area is surprisingly large for the location. Great cafe for larger parties.Food: 5/5
Great amount of choices! Both toasted and cold sandwiches, along with many bakery items! Awesome fresh squeezed orange juice, too! The place is pretty large, so plenty of seating. Would recommend breakfast if you’re in the area!
I had a coffee. My server asked if they could get me anything else. I laughed and said “Not unless you’ve got any eggs which wasn’t on the menu. She smiled and said “We can make you a bowl of eggs”. And they did. So nice!Food: 5/5
