Our employees prepare our sides throughout the day from scratch in the restaurant and give it the same attention they would give to their own family. This is barbeque in its truest form, created by people who are dedicated to doing it right.

Love city bbq! They have it down to a science. So consistent. You know exactly what your getting! I had the Carolina goldmine! Very tasty! My wife had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the kids had chicken tenders and fries!Food: 5/5
Cleanliness makes or breaks the food industry. This place was pretty filthy. With the amount of employees on shift when we visited, you would think someone would take the initiative to sweep up the dining area, wipe down tables, or take out the over flowing trash….The simple things that need to be done at food service venue. Food was cold and inedible.
This place made Me feel like Home. It was similar to Mission BBQ in Baltimore. There was plenty of parking. They greeted Us as We entered. The cashier was nice and helpful. The seating area was clean. The bathroom was clean. The food came out fast. We met up with My Wife's Cousin. We met at Him at Her Johnson Family Reunion last year. A great meeting place.
The cowbell brisket sandwich is absolutely tender and delectable. I also ordered a peach cobbler... Yummy. A decent amount for your dollar. In town for a couple of days, I might just order again. I ordered online, delivery was prompt and fairly fast.
Ordered City Barbeque Miller Lane the other day. I've never been to a City BBQ, so this was a new-to-me restaurant. I got a few kids meals so that I could try several things. Made for left overs for a couple of days too. The chicken fingers were really good. I preferred the pulled chicken to the turkey. I got several sauces to try and liked them all but one. Not sure which one, because I didn't understand the abbreviations that they put on the cups. ‍ I was missing the drinks from two of the kids meals. I contacted the restaurant and they made it right! A few things got a little smashed in the bag the way that it was packed, but it was still tasty.
I'm from Texas so please bare with me. First of all, the smoky smell that hit me as I walked in reminded me of home. The staff is incredibly fun and friendly. The brisket rub was not as spicy as I am used to but the meat was very moist, lean and tender. Really a choice selection of meat that was well prepared. The sauces and beans were sweater than I am used to but they have an interesting and diverse selection. City BBQ is definitely a better than Dickies which tends to be too salty and dry. Last thing... save room for dessert. We had the cherry cobbler. So good .
I am from out of town but saw this place and decided to give it a try. The menu looked really good and it seems like a good down home bbq restaurant. To be fair, I have only eaten from there twice, got brisket both tomes and it was excellent, which is why I'm going 5 stars. The service both times was fast and polite, also 5 stars No rating for atmosphere as I did not dine in and used the drive thru, but if it is anything like the food and service ratings it would be right up there.
Had the brisket and pulled chicken with corn pudding and bread pudding for dessert. Food came out crazy fast, but the despite that, tasted great. This coming from a southeast Texas boy. Flavors were all there and couldn't have been happier. I was quite surprised how good the corn pudding was. First time ever having that and definitely now something I have to implement into my BBQ. Bread pudding was really sweet and I might go for the chocolate cake next time given the price. I'd definitely come back. Staff was great and certainly worth the price. Features: Barriers between close tables. No mask required. Hand sanitizer all around.
I was stuck in Ohio for two weeks. I ate here at least 6 of those nights. The food is amazing and the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The collard greens, the potato salad, and the pulled chicken sandwiches touched my soul! Their food makes me feel like I am at home. Keep up the awesome work, you have gained a City BBQ fan.
Nearly everything about the order was problematic; the two sandwiches and fries were cold, and the bread soggy. I had ordered two sides of sauce, but they were not in the bag. The order indicated there would be utensils, but there were none. I did receive a straw, but I did not order a drink. This was the first time stopping at City BBQ but it will also be my last. The food was nearly inedible. Even the chocolate chip cookies were dry. I'd also add that the food was delivered nearly 10 minutes later than the indicated pick-up time. ***As a quick update, I received an email from customer service shortly after my visit, asking for my mailing address so that they could send a gift card; one never arrived.
