Best furniture shopping experience ever. The staff was very friendly and professional. The store offers such a wide variety of options it took forever to choose, but we fell in love with the most comfortable sectional ever. Our sales person Ashley was awesome and helped us configure the sectional to our preference. The delivery was scheduled for little over a week later and as of 12/9 I am the happiest customer. The delivery crew was fast and friendly. Wore masks the whole time and even arrived two hours early. Overall great service.
They are very bad with customer service. I bought a dining set Sunday, today is Wednesday and they delivered it. Good. When I opened the box with the table all the 4 beams were scratched, and dented, some of them broken. Also there was a Tridents chewing gum box lingering around the box....... ?, I called them within one hour of delivery. Once I saw the material, I saw it was not wood nor resistant then and I said I didn't want it, They denied it. Once the item it's delivered you can't return it. They asked me up to how much was I willing to accept as a gift certificate, and I indicated I did not want to do business with them anymore, but I would take a refund on the table, not the chairs and they said they could only give me $100.00. I paid 10 times that and a little more. Rooms to GO it's excellent. Quality furniture, but they don't have inventory. You might as well wait for it to arrive.
The salesman Rayon is fantastic! He’s so smart with colors and even matching the furniture to the grain in the floors! I definitely recommend him. All of the deliveries drivers are so nice. They put everything together or in the spot I want. They do a great job.
Horrible. Don't buy here. On my third replacement from items delivered with scratches, glue marks, dirty and more. Every time I call they give me the assurance that someone will check the items before they leave the warehouse. Still waiting for my items and now we are going on 6 weeks. They won't refund me nor will they give me a product free of damage. Yet they offer to settle by giving me a City Furniture gift card to take the items "as is" which I find completely absurd. Why would I want anything from them ever again? Calls to Customer Care take more than 1/2 hour for answering. One day it took 1 hour an 14 minutes. I waited to see when they would answer and they never did. During this time, I emailed my sales person Jeffery Hartnett for assistance and I am yet to hear from him. I emailed the Customer Care, Sergio who quickly answered saying he was busy and referred me to the customer care line. Clastic runaround. By the way, this customer care person also emailed Jefferey and copied me on the email and he never replied to that email either. Since I was not getting any response, I went to the store where I purchased my furniture. Manager Jamie , at Hollywood store would not speak to me directly when I said I needed help and he brushed me off to a sales person who when I insisted to speak to a manager, left the floor and left me with the sales person. This sales person called Customer Care from their store line. It took 15 minutes for them to answer. I spoke to a Customer Care person, who could not help so I asked to speak to a manager. I was transferred to Warranty Manager "Vivian," who would not provide last name when I asked her, and said she could not do anything other than exchange the furniture to resolve the issue. She assured me that the items would be delivered by special customer delivery service. Today the items arrived. Damaged again. Obviously no one checked the items before they left the warehouse as she assured me. Now I have another exchange scheduled. The customer care person assured me that this time the furniture would be inspected before leaving the warehouse. I have run out of patience. I will never buy anything from them or their sister store Ashley. I would suggest you don't either.
Read this if you plan to buy from clearance or pick up at the store. Usually the waiting times increase after 5pm. I was there on a Thursday and it took me almost one hour just to get to the dock. I had to go 2 times because the first time they didn't find 2 bar stools. It seems the problem is the logistic to have the items ready to pick up. If you buy a few items from clearance, most likely they will not be stored in the same place so they can find it easily. I was told that most of the time they are in different places. So be prepared to wait. This information is important if you pay someone by the hour to pick up your items. Plan ahead. Also keep in mind they don't protect the clearance items with bubble wrap. Bring proper protection for your furniture. New items are in the box. The customer support phone sometimes take forever to answer. They have good prices on many items, but most of them are out of stock due to container shortage to import products. Sales team are good.
Shopping experience was a breeze. I live in GA and they were able to accommodate me. The pieces I have are very pretty. Delivery from FL to GA took 2 months. The only hiccup was the delivery company they used didn’t take precaution with the light colored furniture mine off white. There were dirty prints and stains all over my furniture. So upsetting. I was able to manually clean off the dirty spots myself something I should not have to do getting my brand new furniture.
Read everything they give you in writing before dealing with these corporate crooks and do not believe a word the sales personnel tell you its all false.!!!! I purchased a media console which was delivered with extensive damages and followed all the return guidelines as requested for an exchange within less than an hour of receiving the furniture. After that I called customer care where I spoke with a rep that assured me the console would be replaced and there was on one for me with absolutely no damages and they would provide white glove service delivery on Saturday Nov. 12, 2022. Same day at 8 am I receive a text that the console was on back order and would arrive sometime in December . I requested a refund and they refused to provide one because they say their store policy is an exchange only since the merchandise had been received. I spoke to a Manager by the name of Cici who sounded like a robot reading from a script extremely rude unprofessional and unaccommodating. I will still pursue a refund even if I have to take legal action against the company and will file a BBB complaint as well. This company is definitely not trustworthy no matter how much they advertise they are a bunch of crooks. Do not buy from them or Ashley cheap, poor quality and on top of it all they do not take care of the customer as they should. Now they have basically taken my 1200.00 and I'm stuck without the product. Crooks!!!
Although the furniture is heavy, the movers moved in quickly and completed the delivery in less than 30 minutes! They were quick and efficient. Our salesperson was so patient with our decision making. We had an overall great experience with City Furniture.
Purchased $4200 worth of furniture on July 17th, 2021. Salesperson, Mr. Abreu, was great in Cutler Bay, FL store. He gave us an indication that the items we purchased would be available in a timely manner. On September 4th we received all the pieces of furniture delivery went well, but the incorrect five legs to the sofa suppose to be approximately 6” iron legs and not 1” stubby wooden feet. We chose to keep the sofa the way it was without its proper legs and wait for the parts to come in, versus returning the whole sofa and not having anything to sit on. The legs were suppose to arrive in November, then where postponed to December 23 and now have been postponed to late February. We returned to the store to see if our salesperson could help he said, he’d send the request to an acceleration department, but to no avail - no one called us and impossible to reach anyone anywhere. In the meantime we sit on the “floor sofa”. At this point, I believe the appropriate thing might be to stop offering the couch for sale in CF’s showrooms since they’re really not available, and remove the 5 legs off of just one of those and send them to us with an installer. In the meantime we are paying for this furniture with seemingly no trustworthy belief that legs are forthcoming. The several times we have called we have been on hold for 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2.5 hours, respectively. We humbly request someone in authority make the decision to satisfy this transaction instead of selling one more of these sofas. First 3 photos are of sofa the way it is today without proper legs and the fourth photo shows the correct legs it should have as displayed in showroom.
I Always purchase furniture from city furniture the midtown location, we never have problem decided to try the Tamarac store horrible experience! I requested a white coffee table for my home the sell men sold me different color and material table because she knew the white table we wanted wasn’t available and to make the commission she lie to us. when I contact the store & costumer service as soon I received the table nobody wanted to be responsible super unethical and irresponsable.
