City of Chicago Heights is paradise. It’s a little piece of heaven on earth. Other City Halls in my experience in other places in Cook County are on a par with hell. And I won’t even mention Chicago - that’s seven pangs of hell.
I went to turn in papers for a job at Code Enforcement, I decided to ask about an application for water service. Some employees are polite and have good manners, but there are few that have a rude behavior, to customers in Code Enforcement. Is always nice to treat people with respect and manners, I witness some time back a contractor who went to apply for a permit and spoke in Spanish to this lady, she pretend not to speak English, she she does not only understand Spanish but is rude to people who do not speak English. I do not have her name, but she sits in the desk behind reception in the middle desk with a blue top. It does not hurt to treat people with respect and good manners, since residents taxes pay the employees paycheck. I work reception desk in a school district and never haver given the look or rude to anyone even when people are rude to me. A smile to others makes a difference in this world. Hope the mayor or a manager reads this message and give better training to the employees , best of all keep an eye on how people are treated. Thank you
Leadership and administrative team sets the standards for municipalities in the South Suburbs. City Clerks office is extremely friendly. Lots of growth and commercial commerce in the area.
