Beautiful place with gorgeous architecture, it is a gem for tourists. If you are interested in learning about history and buildings architecture this is right place for you. It has a ice rink for skating, vendors with tent and beautiful light show on new year and in holidays.
Wonderfully ornate Philadelphia Government building with many statues, all different. At one time, the tallest building in the city! William Penn stands on the top.
the BSS platforms are in a horrible condition and there is a very significant leak on the express tracks but a good thing is that it has very frequent train service and the outdoor entrance is very nice
Station is in extremely poor condition. Platform is super dirty and appears to be on the verge of falling apart. Definitely needs to be renovated soon. I would recommend taking other forms of transportation if you can in order to avoid this station.
Philadelphia is truly beautiful. The City Hall is not crowded and the locals are very friendly. One of the local guides help me with tips and even gave me a map of the city. Truly the City of Brotherly Love
This is in reference to the City Hall subway station and not the actual building above it. Most of the reviews for this place were about the building above it, which is why the star rating is as high as it is. The station isn't that nice and can be a bit hard to navigate sometimes. Although the entrances and the El have had renovations, the Broad Street Line section seems to have been ignored and looks run down. Yes, the building above it is amazing but this station definitely isn't.
Very cool place to visit when passing through. Great architecture.
Great place for visitors to spend quality time. Full of activities like roller skating, ice skating during winter. Place is illuminated nicely during Christmas. Food counters, churros, waffle fries drinks coffee, wine and beer available in the stalls nearby. Good place to spend an evening. The view of Art gallery through Ben Franklin parkway amidst lighted water fountains is definitely a treat to the eyes.
Absolutely majestic, great architecture, truly an inspiring sight!
