City of North Charleston Recreation & Parks Department

This is the most unprofessional, unorganized, unethical recreation department I have ever worked with in my life. The Director of Athletics Jimmy is just as lost as everyone working under him. This recreation department shows favorites and allows certain coaches to stack their teams and pick and choose what players they want on their teams. The referees pick and chooses what flags to call on what teams based on their personal relationships with the coaches.The rules are bent based on who's playing on the court...Multiple parents have complained and NOTHING has been done. I have complained and NOTHING was done. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. Everyone Literally needs to be fired and replaced. There I also a huge need of customer service training throughout the entire department.

Super nice! Definitely recommend.

Very peaceful and quiet park, especially during the weekday mornings. Nicely kept fields. Playground itself could use a cleanup. Nice little pond to sit around by with some geese. Beware of the massive piles of geese droppings, they are very unassuming. Bathrooms are fairly nice for a public park. 4/5 would recommend. Service is decent here as well
