Very quite on July 4th. Nice & clean. Good foods & Great service but not many menu selections.
Don’t bother calling, they never pick up the phone! If it’s a busy night make your reservation through Resy. They close early, by 9pm they giving the checks already. Food was ok, not what I expected. The restaurant is very nice! Limited variety for dinner menu. Great for groups reservations. Upstairs it’s iPic so it’s very convenient if you get dinner and then go see a movie! Parking is very expensive. They say 3 hours free but it’s really not. I spent 5 hours and they charged me $15. So that means 2 hours e/a at $7.50 which is crazy if it was 3 hours for free.
Great location and ambience.. Food tasted great the portion size was decent enough.. Good choice of Cocktails and they were not weak or watered down.. Staff were friendly and helpful.. Knocking off a Star since the Service was extremely slow the night we were in even though there wasn't much of a crowd and they were constantly running out of items on their Menu eventhough it was only 8.30 PM or so. Since it was my 1st time here I am not sure if this is a pattern or just a bad day.. Manager Tim was very polite and did take the time and effort to come speak to us and gave a decent discount for the delay in Service. Our waitress Liza was also very good about making a bad situation better. Would definitely recommend as well as visit again...
We came here in a Christmas Day planning to go after to the movie theater. We ordered fried calamari for our kids and a grilled peaches and beats salad for our starters. However, the calamari was awful, saggy, filled about half the dish with fillers fried lemon and artichokes first time we had a calamari with this poor quality. The main entrees were ok at best. shrimp a la Diabla was spicy with no real flavor, and the pork tenderloin in mustard sauce was salty, mustard sauce didn’t match well with the meat. Our server was really nice and understandable, however the kitchen took forever to prepare the food. We didn’t even finish our meals… Definitely not coming back for dinner. The restaurant in the city south seaport 5/5 stars! totally different in terms of food preparation, quality and presentation.
Definitely a very very very good restaurant, staff is always super nice and friendly. The menu is pricey so be aware, but usually if you’re here you’re going to iPic as well so you should already have that in mind. Drinks are very good and the food is amazing. Definitely would recommend to experience dinner or the dinner and a movie combo. Last visit I ordered the Brussels Sprouts and Ribs, will be back for that same meal in the future!
This place is very nice but Denae is amazing the best server ever, I would definitely recommend it 100% and will come back. Thank you so much for your service and for being so nice!Food: 5/5
Came for brunch with my family following a funeral service. Service was slow, but food was good. My sister with an egg allergy was initially served the incorrect dish eggs Benedict. Upon alerting our server, the server shrugged and said she thought she heard eggs Benedict. It took approximately 30 minutes for the correct dish to come out; we received only a meek apology for the wait, with no other acknowledgment of the error or accountability from staff. Upon receiving the bill, only a 10% discount off of her order was received, and we had to discuss the situation with the server to have the meal removed. Upon delivering the corrected bill, our server tossed it on the table without stopping. We are grateful to the manager who spoke with us for remedying the situation, but find the lack of accountability for allergen exposure concerning and disturbing.
City Perch is a perfect haven of modern eating. While they offer traditional lunch/dinner menu, their Brunch menu is well created for weekend consumption. Food presentation is more of an art, and taste is mesmerizing, so much that you relish the dishes way after having them. All the items during this particular visit was top notch, and well done. Service was friendly. The only improvement which is why this post is missing that one star is with their wait time. We had to wait over 45 mins for our food to get served. However the Manager was gentle and courteous to come acknowledge the delay more than once and offered us appetizers on the house. Overall a great spot to hang with family/friends for weekend brunches.
Service matters and I felt it was overpriced. Immediately felt uncomfortable by the waiter. Besides that the gimlet was an addicting drink if you’re into gin! The Brussels sprouts are definitely worth it. The tuna...not so much. The croquettes were bomb especially with the sauce. The duck was tasty as well. They did sort of a chicharron with the duck skin which I appreciated. Ordered a side of Mac as well which was just okay. The milieu was dim and intimate. Happy hour only available at the bar.
Horrible customer service. As soon as we walked in we were told that half the restaurant was closed due to a private event and that we are only able to sit in a certain section. Other people were already sitting/being served in thag section too. Once we sat down, reviewed the menu, & were abojt to order another rude woman came up to our table and told us we had to leave due to the private party. She didn’t apologize or seem empathetic at all. She forced us to immediately leave while other parties were able to stay and snatched the menus from us. We didn’t even have time to reply back & just left. This was the most rude encounter I’ve experienced in a restaurant. I expect way more from this place. Never want to go back.
