LOVE this place. Took my wife to see Evil Dead: The Musical and it was the best night we've had in a long LONG time. Staff was helpful and friendly. Show was very audience engaging.
Great concert, very nice setting. All seats are good.right next to parking structure.
I saw Evil Dead the Musical and had a great time. The seats were good, the beer was accessible and I could easily bring it to my seat. The ticket taking made sense. And I enjoyed the show I came to see.
Went to see the Evil Dead musical. Worth every penny. The staff and cast were more than friendly and accommodating. Highly re reccomend to anyone on the fence - makes a great date night if that's your thing!
Beautiful small 450 seats theater right in the heart of Detroit's theater district and across the street from Comerica park. We took the kids ages 11, 10, 8, 8, 6 to watch Junie B Jones the musical. Tickets were cheap $12.50 a piece and the show was great. Acoustics, lighting and other sound was also great. Overall a great experience.
Great small venue. Saw the Men are from Mars, Woman from Venus comedy show. It was great. Nice to have the Hockeytown Sports Bar there too. Easier to get a drink from them during intermission when the bar outside the City Theatre was too crowded.
Nice venue, hadn't been in a bit. Wasn't aware of the upstairs performance space, will have to keep that in mind! Good specialty cocktails, even if bartender Terry had to figure them out!
Nice, small theatre. I've been here a few times and it's a good place for small productions. The seats are moderately comfortable, but a little small. The theatre is always clean and there isn't a bad seat in the place.
Great little theater inside of Hockeytown Cafe. Located right across from Comerica Park. Maybe 10-12 rows with 3 sections. The size is perfect for an up close experience from any seat. Seats are . We went in October for Evil Dead. Bar available.
It's a small theater, but cozy. A bar at the entrance, which is convenient. The only issue is the show we attended was sold out, and the directions for lining up for entry weren't very specific and poorly organized. The line also winded up the stairs of a busy restaurant.
