Yesterday I went to urgent care and was treated with professionalism and kindness from the staff, from the front desk to the nurses in the exam room. The doctor who examined me was thorough and listened carefully to my symptoms. During the exam she also had meaningful conversations with me, that made me feel especially seen! This location deserves more than five stars!
We had a great experience. My daughter received excellent treatment - we arrived at 10:30 at night and needed an X-ray. The staff was professional and moved quickly. The facility was clean and the front desk person was helpful and kind. We also received follow up calls to ask how my daughter was doing days afterwards. Would highly recommend!
Our family uses and likes City MD. We use the closest one to wherever we are same as most. That said, if it is at all possible, no matter the drive, or time basically if we can make it when they are open The Lake Grove City MD is by far the best. From the Welcome when you arrive, to the organized, consistent, incredible service AND consistent staff, there is no better. Most important and very lucky for us over the last bunch of years is when Dr Kort happens to be there as our "Provider" but we prefer to call her our friend and Dr. Wonderful personality, smart as a whip, super kind, and she knows and remembers our medical history. I'm sure you guessed we were there today, and thankfully Joe helped us get ready also great!!!!, and Dr. Kort took amazing care. Thank you City MD. We love and value what you folks do for our communities. My only recommendation, Use your Lake Grove Flagship as the rule, amazing. PS. Thanks for helping me breathe Dr Kort, it definitely will add to my vacation, lol. JC
0 stars!! They no longer take my insurance so you will more then likely have to pay to be seen at an URGENT CARE CITY MD!! This never used to be the case up until recently this month Sept. 2023. Very rude, uncaring, unprofessional employees as well! Will never return and will tell anyone I DO NOT recommend this place unless your ready to pay out of pocket and be treated very poorly!
I had a bad URI all week that turned into a nasty asthma exacerbation. My inhaler wasn’t doing much bc it was expired. I was nervous to go bc I don’t have insurance yet kicks in at my new job in 2 weeks but I needed to breathe so I ended up going. I paid like $225 flat fee but they saw me almost immediately, gave me a nebulizer treatment and sent me a prescription for a better inhaler, steroids, and abx for sinusitis. Even though I had to pay out of pocket for this visit plus my meds at the pharmacy it still cost less than my insurance would have if it kicked in this month. The staff were friendly and professional. The PA and her assistant were efficient and friendly and knowledgeable.
City Md in Lake Grove is an exceptional urgent care facility! I have been there for many medical concerns & always receive the most kind, compassionate professional care! Jason is a true asset to this facility with his kind caring ways! Dr. Kort is excellent with so much experience & medical expertise! I highly recommend this facility 10 stars
Nice facility. Greeted by very helpful & friendly staff at the front desk. The clinical team was great. They took time to answer my questions and thoroughly explain what they thought was going on. I really think this place has the perfect balance of being efficient yet thorough.
We went to City MD, Lake Grove, next to Fortunoff’s b/c we returned from FL with COVID. I called ahead to be sure we could enter the office. I was asked to wear a mask and was told we were welcome to be seen. Everyone made us feel welcome. Dr. Kohrt and her assistant were WONDERFUL. Dr. K. explained everything to us, was very patient, answered all our questions and was truly interested in our wellbeing. Wish we could see her every time we need medical attention.
Awesome I’ve been getting everything from covid to flu to pneumonia and more due to my granddaughter in pre k so I got everything and they took excellent care of me for6 months. I asked them to give me a job… just kidding. The best urgent care office.
Brought my 18yr old in with a bad cough and a sore throat. Nurse was excellent, Doctor was just as good. Diagnosed an ear infection and left with multiple scripts to help him get better quick. Well run and all very friendly and helpful.
