Short wait. Good service, doctor, and diagnostic ability, with initial dose offered on site. Seems to have done the trick I’m doing better. Helpful place of healing. Kind reception too Recommended highly esp since I got there right around closing time and they treated me well despite that fact. A+. Would love to have them as a 24/7 service ideally.
One of the best locations with a wonderful and understanding Director that did his best and to go on & beyond to make sure staff and Patience are good. The staff was taking care of the myself and of a patience outstandingly. Also we were seen and a timely manner.
Overall this is a good & clean location with good employees. But my 5 stars are solely because of doctor Sandra. She is the best doctor I’ve seen and that includes my primary. She goes above and beyond to communicate what’s going with you as a patient so you can understand, she’s very caring and it’s apparent that she loves what she does.
Staff was courteous and friendly. I was seen in a timely manner. Adu, the Xray technician took his time to get excellent, clear Xrays. Excellent visit overall-thank you.
Don’t bother coming to city md. Since they changed owners they don’t offer quality service like they use to. I’ve been to this location twice and both times they give me a print out from the internet telling me about what I already know and tell me to go to my primary doctor but still charge you, the next and last time I went they took my vitals and told me go to the emergency room because they don’t have the equipment to check me and still charged me even tho they couldn’t help me. Don’t waste your money coming here.
Short wait. The urgent care is great but what sets it apart is the front area staff. Thalia was very empathetic and helpful. Would recommend if you need urgent care.
I rec. excellent care from here. I went in very weak from dehydration due to the Flu and they gave me i.v. fluids and made me comfortable with a pillow and blanket i.v. makes you very cold. The facility was clean and everyone was kind and welcoming and professional.
I came into CityMD alone, barely able to stand or speak. I gave provider who saw me details of what was ailing me - severe diarrhea, nausea, bouts of vomiting, all which rendered me severely dehydrated. I was in critical need of fluids, as I was unable to effectively replenish what was being lost. I knew I needed IV fluids, but the provider refused, advising rather that "if it's that bad, I ought to go to the ER." To my knowledge, CityMD has the ability to administer such treatment, and this treatment is not so intensive or invasive, but I was denied. Instead, I was given a stool testing kit, 1000mg of acetaminophen, Zofran, some Maalox, and was sent on my way still barely able to stand or speak. While in the waiting room, I was asked by several other patients if I was alright, or if I needed some water - clearly something was still very amiss. I was later sent to the ER via ambulance. If I had to mention something positive, it would be the front desk staff went above and beyond to get me into a room as soon as possible. The woman who checked me in was kind, courteous, and accommodated me by bringing my documents to me. CityMD is supposed to be the first defense against ER visits and you failed. I received substandard care in the form of 'band aid' solutions, and as a result, was admitted to the hospital. I will not be returning to CityMD.
I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, which set the tone for the entire visit. I highly recommend City MD Riverdale in the Bronx for its top- notch service and exceptional staff. You won’t be disappointed .
Ridiculous customer service and especially in after care department. The agents putting you on a hold for over 30 min wait, and it takes forever to request one refill over the phone. Patient portal is down. It is not working if you want to request refill or message your provider. Just leaving 3 starts because the doctors and staff on this location been amazing and friendly. This rating only for online agents!
